Aside from the presence of termites in the first place, the experience was great. The price was the lowest of three bids, and we didn't have to chase them down to get a quote like some of the other vendors. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and were finished on time as well. During the course of the tenting one of the skylights got broken somehow, but we didn't even know about it until they told us that they had already replaced it. That's pretty awesome service.
Description of Work: David Riddle at Truly Nolan tented our house for termites.

I am on an annual contract with them. They are professional when they come out to perform the work. I have seen a lot of dead bugs.

The salesman came the same day I called. He looked around and then gave me the price for an annual contract, or a one time service. We went with annual. They come every three months and spray around the outside. They let you know when they are coming and you can change that time if it's not convenient. You don't have to be home for them to do it.
Description of Work: They come quarterly to spray around the perimeter of the house to keep the bugs out. They will come inside if you're seeing bugs inside but otherwise they stay outside.

Originally, the plan was to set traps for 2 weeks, then on a call-as-needed basis. We ended up taking longer, but the rats seem to be gone. I can always call them back for a year if we hear something. Then we plan to renew when the year is up.

They came out and gave me an estimate and were very thorough in their coverage. Then they showed up (ontime) to complete the work. They are very good at what they do, and I do highly recommend them.
Description of Work: They came out and laid traps to catch mice, and covered up any exposed areas that could lead to a problem. The reason I liked them, is that they continue to come out and reset traps until the problem is solved. They were honest, and very professional. I will definitely use them again.

Very disappointed in the knowledge of the representative.
Description of Work: Had a problem with flying termites. Estimator looked around the inside and outside of the house and could not find where the termites were coming from. The representative took a sample of the dead termites to their lab for identification. Several days later the rep. called and informed me that we had "dry wood" termites and would have to tent the house at a cost of $4,500 plus any roof and plant damage that was done in the process. We would have to remove all food and medicine from the house and refrigerator plus move out of the house for three days. We also had some droppings on an outside patio which the rep. could not identify. Had Rudy's Pest Control out for a second opinion. Their rep immediately identified the termites as " Western subterranean termites." Plus he found the termite tunnels on the outside of the house. The ones Truly Nolen rep. could not find. Cost to eliminate $350. Rudy's also identified the droppings outside to be from bats from the neighbor's palm trees. What a difference in the knowledge of the reps. from the two companies.

They come when they say they will come, so they are reliable. They come often because we have a lot of palmetto bugs. They come about every 2 weeks. They always call when they are coming and they always leave an invoice. They try not to poison my dog. They are a respectable company. They have been around longer than I have and I have lived here since 1982.

Overall everything went well and smoothly. Everything was explained to me clearly and all my questions were answered. This company was exactly what I was looking for in a pest control business.
Description of Work: Under the Truly Nolen Four Seasons Plan the interior and exterior of my home was treated for ants, roaches, spiders, wasps, crickets, and mice. The representative noticed the insects that were around, including an ant nest and activity right near my front door. Treating the exterior included the front and back yards. The interior was given special consideration so that humans and pets don't come into contact with poison, which I really was surprised and pleased that this company was environmentally concerned. Also the ant activity by the front door and the trail of ants that used to go past it all the time are no longer there.

The visit with them went very well. They were very professional and timely. I had no complaints whatsoever. I called them in because I thought I had couple of rats around. I paid them $200 and they came for a month to make sure that everything was cleared out.

The lady who came out was really good. We just decided on the pesticide that we wanted to use, which the company we went with used. Truly Nolen didn't use the kind of pesticide that we wanted at that time. I didn't have any complaint about them. They were truly knowledgeable and good. The sales lady that came out was good. She explained things to us, and she spend a lot of time with us. She called us periodically to see if we made the decision. She was at the top of her game, and I will recommend her. They were good. Their quote was expensive.

They spray inside and outside and they do a great job. They have a variety of treatments because we have a dog and I have respiratory problems. They spray in places that the dog can?t get to and they use chemicals that won?t affect my breathing. They are very thorough and very responsive. We had an ant infestation and we thought they got rid of them but the ants came back and Truly Nolen came out within a few hours of our call. I don?t recall the number but the price isn?t outrageous. We checked with about three different outfits and their price was very competitive. We haven?t had any reoccurrences.

Truly Nolan offers a good service. We do have return ants in the summer time, but in this area, they are very hard to control. They do apply additional treatments whenever we need it, at no cost. When we suggested an upgrade to a monthly service, they strongly suggested I stay at the quarterly plan, and just call for a free supplemental service. They are also extremely flexible to move service appointments to when they are convenient.
Description of Work: This is our 5th quarterly application which starts our next renewal contract.

The man who came out was very knowledgeable. Looked over our home and gave us the estimate. Due to my husbands health the chemicals used was of concern to us. The gentleman called his office to find out for certain exactly what was in the chemical to ensure that it would not compromise my husbands health. Had I not had a second estimate the same day, I most likely would have chosen this company. After choosing the other company, we are still inundated with ants but we are trying to resolve this problem with the company we chose.

Truly Nolan responded very fast to do an inspection and quote. Very thorough and pleasant to work with. Scheduled service at my convenience. Serviceman was prompt, courteous, and careful. Great 1st time experience. Signed up for 1 year of service, performed quarterly.

The one thing I absolutely love about this company is that they use earth friendly, green chemicals. It's nice to know that my ant problem will be taken care of while not harming the environment or animals. The guys are always courteous when they come to my house and they let me know when they arrive and leave.
Description of Work: I have a yearly service agreement with the company and pay quarterly to spray for ants in my 1/3 acre yard and inside my 1900 square feet home. The initial visit was $130.
