I 1st joined Angie's List 10+ years when it was free. I wasn't happy with the suppliers or contractors back then. Fast forward 10 years and I decided to give them a try because I wanted someone local who could produce high quality workmanship at a very good price. The estimation process: We had several face-to-face meetings and emails to discuss the project and the various options. Once I locked on to a design and my spouse was in full agreement -- Luke produced a very detailed estimate which listed each deliverable in the project from demo/furniture removal to clean-up. This made it easy for me to see price breakdown for each deliverable and determine whether I wanted to keep/change/remove. In terms of pricing they are highly competitive - I was very pleased. The only exception was in painting and electrical. Ultimately painting was removed, but we kept the electrical as is. The deposit was placed and the start date was set. Lance was the point-person/project manager. Very easy to work with and contact via email/text/cell. His customer service was a wonderful surprise. I was expecting a mediocre experience. However, L&L truly surprised me everyday they were on site. The team was professional; courteous and proficient. We could not be happier with their work and service. They made sure that we were happy when the work was completed. So many other contractors do the work, but don't care if your happy with the final product. L&L made sure -- we were satisfied to the end. I highly recommend them and would work with them again - absolutely. An outstanding team.

I worked with the owners of the company directly. They were very hands-on and collaborative. The stuck with the project until it was finished to my complete satisfaction. It was fair value so it was on the expensive side. The project took longer than I had anticipated.

So glad I found these guys on Angie's list. The baseboards they put throughout my home look beautiful. Lance's design for my built in media cabinets was exactly what I wanted and they look stunning. As this is our second home, they fit around our schedule to do the work whilst we were out of town, so we arrived to find a beautiful, finished project and no mess (they even brought in a professional maid service to do the clean-up!!). They also put molding around a large mirror in the powder room and fitted pulls to my kitchen cabinets. They are great guys to work with; professional, highly skilled and genuinely nice people - I will definitely hire them again for my next project.

Jon and his crew provided an excellent job renovating the cabinets throughout our home in Palm Desert. Kitchen, three bathrooms and a laundry room were all done and look superb. Matching finishes and styles with existing cabinets was perfect and the quality of the materials and hardware were top notch. Our home has a completely new look and feel from this makeover. One important aspect of this project was the need for a timely completion with a hard deadline. Explaining this to Jon before the project was initiated, he assured me that the project could be completed within the aggressive schedule we required. Sure enough, everything was completed on time including the few remedial touch ups that are always required to finish out a project. The level of professionalism and attention to details were great during the entire project. As someone who has been a project manager on many construction projects, I would rank L&L high on the list of reliable, quality contractors I have dealt with.

This was actually the second time I have hired this company. The first time was fall 2013. An extensive rough beamed ceiling in the great room...approximately $15,000.00. Great experience And this time went just as smoothly and turned out as beautifully as the first. They were all very professional, timely, and detail oriented. All very importany things for me. I have a lot of experience with working with all kinds of contractors in several parts of the country. Lance and Luke are definitely at the top of their game and you can feel confident that you will get the best from them. I was very particular as to what I wanted and they delivered. And, they are great guys to work with! I will certainly use them again when the need arises.

After going back and forth on Angie's list and on separate phone calls, I was told by the owner that we are too far away (35 miles) The Riverside area is clearly listed as one of the areas they work in, which is why I initially emailed through Angie's List. What a waste of time.

Jon, came and measured everything, he emailed an estimate and contract right away after signing it he ordered the materials and setup with us an install date, he arrived on the date he said he would and did a great job.

They had previously remodeled a kitchen for us and we called them for this job because we were happy with the work. It turned out very nicely. All of the artisans that worked with him, such as the tile man, electrician, plumber, and others, they were all great as well! They completed the job in about three weeks which is longer than I had expected. I had already purchased all of the hardware such as the faucets and toilets. If there was ever a problem with anything, they took care of it immediately. They were all wonderful!

The modified cabinet looks and works great. The modified cabinet looks like it was the original and never modified. We are pleased with the result.

Half of the payment was done through our insurance that we had. The price was very reasonable. My husband called them and they came immediately. They were punctual. They took care of everything. They came the next day, set everything up and retest it. I love them.

They did excellent. Did a counter for us and a friend of his did tile and marble for us. Another bid we received for this same job was $30,000. Everything turned out great. The completed job was superb, finished on time, and within budget. Mr. Lance Morgan?s crew were beyond competent, capable, clean and polite. My wife and I recommend highly their quality and professionalism exhibited by all the Finish First Carpentry group. The stain matching was exact by the master stainer, the granite was matched bull nosed and installed by a master workman, and the cabinets were exact to a point. The final total cost was highly competitive and was well within budget.

Jon and Brenda came out and we gave a rough idea of what we wanted. They came back with so much more than we expected. I can't say enough about the quality of work they provided. We are definitely going to use them again.

Everything was fine! No negative comments and all positive comments including a perfect clean-up! Came to the minute when he said they would come. Amazing for 2013! It was very hard to get him to come and do the work. I waited 4 weeks for a $400 job AND had to pay for it in advance. He feels that he is a huge corporation when he basically works by himself or with one other man.

Having done remodels both for homes and offices I can say without reservation that finding Lance here on Angie's List was a delight. I have hired contractor's on recommendation from friends, business associates, etc. most were satisfactory and some not so. Lance, however is what you expect a contractor to be. His communication, both email and phone were excellent. He was always punctual. And, the workmanship top notch. In fact, we are now having him estimate wainscoting for our home we were so impressed. Another note. One of the first things I observe about mechanics, contractors, etc., is how they keep their tools. To me a well organized tool box is a sign of a well organized craftsman. Lance's workspace was well organized and that also encouraged me to hire him - turns out to be a good choice. Lance has my highest recommendation.

Very Smooth

From start to finish the experience was great. He was able to match our existing wood stain perfectly, so the shelving looks as if it has been there all along. The glass door is also perfect. Great, great work. Already have him quoting another job for us.

They are absolutely the best! I have used them a couple of times and on this job, they were professional as usual. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
