Description of Work: Took over a week to get estimate for work and when I received it was astronomically high. They quoted nearly $600 to do an hour's work to remove and replace some silicone seal. I found another glass company to do the work for $90.

+ -1 moreLeft a message and they called 15 minutes later. Went over to place order with measure. Two days later both were ready for pickup. Very professional and friendly service. She is also a treasure trove of where to get things done in Palm Desert.
Description of Work: Needed glass for bed table and chest of drawer tops.

+ 0 moreArrived on time and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. They would have gotten all A's but the young man who was handling the interior used my step ladder and broke it saying he owed me.

+ -1 moreAdam arranged a time the next day with our renters. The crew was prompt. They removed the remaining very large mirrors: (One 32x 60 rake, one 66X60 rake and two 84x48 rake) and took them away. They cleaned up the floor. We didn't get to see the results until April 16th, after our renters had left, and we drove down to Palm Desert. Indian Wells Glass and Mirror did a great job without incident. These mirrors are big and heavy and they have to know what they are doing to remove them from high up safely and without incident. Peeling away the mirrors left gouges and black glue blobs that held (up until the incident) the mirrors, but we knew that and elected to have some one else (David) do that work.
Description of Work: We live in San Jose, and have a condo in Palm Desert, CA that we sometimes rent out. We were in San Jose when all this transpired. The condo living room has very high ceilings (over sixteen feet) with floor to ceiling mirrors on one wall. The bottom mirrors are 8 feet high, and the upper mirrors are 6 to 8 ft (approx) because the ceiling slants. One of the upper mirrors came off the wall, gracefully as it were, and fell gently on to a wicker basket on a ledge. It didn't break. (WHEW!) We had renters occupying the unit at the time. They were very calm about it, and called our "on-call" handyman David who immediately came over to assess the problem. He has a suction device and found a second upper mirror that just came right off. He recommended Adam of Indian Wells Glass and Mirrror. I called Adam and said we wanted the remaining upper tier of mirrors removed. (Our renters told us we should leave the bottom set of mirrors as it enhances the room.) We asked Adam to coordinate his visit with our renters. We did not included wall repairs in this job.

+ -1 moreI called in the morning. It was promised by 4 pm. They called at 3 pm for me to pick it up. It was cut exactly to 7x42; however--my fault--it had to be a 1/16th inch shorter. I took it back and they quickly ground off the excess glass. No Charge!
Description of Work: They provided a 7"x42" 1/8th thick glass panel.
