 + -1 moreMade an appointment for April 13 2013. was given time between 3-5 p.m. They did not call or show up. I called the office on Monday 4/15/13 and the office staff was very helpful and said she would have someone in the service department call me after work to help me to activate the alarms on the doors and I made a new appointment for April 20th.to put alarms on windows. Again, no one called. I sent an email to the girl in the office who was helpful, and told her of my disappointment in the company as I have been with them for many years but since the change in some of the management, the service was not as good as it used to be and that I would hesitate to continue to recommend them to my friends. I received a call that evening to activate my alarms on my doors and they did show up for the appointment on Sat. April 20 2013. Overall Desert Alarm is a good company, but they need to improve on the service department. I am happy with the office staff and central station.
Description of Work: Had new windows installed and needed to have alarms reattached to new windows. The bill would have been 89.00 but I signed up for the service contract.

Description of Work: We needed a new Alarm Company since our old one went out of business. Desert Alarm told us that they most likely could use our old Alarm equipment which would save us a lot of money. That would have been a good reason to go with them! We provided the code to unlock our old system but now they where unable to use it, so we had to buy the new system. They also told us, that they could mail a monthly open- and close report for additional 5 Dollar per month. So we decided to go with them. After 6 weeks I haven't received a report so I called. They put me off in saying that everything is new but next month they definitely will mail the report. Now 4 month have passed and we still got no report... ..at leat, the Alarm works....

 + -1 moreDid not show up 3 times for appointments the 4th would not have happened if I didnt call and demand a sales person.Then it was excuses and story's I didn't have any confidence in the company
Description of Work: 3 apointments missed 4th call I waited and was rushed through told what they would do. couldn't care about what my needs were.

Description of Work: We had an appointment scheduled with Desert Alarm at 11am on 12.12.12. Never showed up. We finally called and they said they made a mistake. They asked when would we like to make another appointment. We told them as soon as possible. They told us they would be out there the next day, 12.13.12 at 9am. We said we would take it. No show again. They said they didn't have our address. They say they called and left messages. Can't find any messages.

 + -1 moreI used to have DAT and when I changed over to Desert Alarms they were so much cheaper. They are very nice and the owner contacted me when I first started.
Description of Work: They have armed patrol and I have their alarm system in my house.
