+ -1 moreArrived on time. Knew what was wrong. Fixed in about an hour. Labor charge was fair. Here is my concern--charged $185 for the replacement parts, which I found at Home Depot and Lowe's for about $40. I expected some markup on the parts, but not more than 4 times over the retail price.

+ -1 moreIsaiah was tech. He came in a fixed it. He was so clean and neat! When he came in the shower, he brought a padded rug and kept his tools and his feet on that. He didn't make any mess! They were very prompt, I called them and they had someone out the next day. I would recommend them to friends and family members.

+ -1 morecomm first day the tech sent removed my old sink and garbage disposal but was unable to do anymore.. Plus he snaked my drain. All of the above worked took about 45 minutes The tech charged 2.5 hours at a cost of $92.00 an hour. Ouch! The owner compensated me and the following day did not charge me for the work done. The techs that came the next were not friendly, I wasn't sure why til it came to pay the bill. I made a comment that I wasn't satisfied with the craftsmanship ..and one of the techs said to me, " we don't care to have your business, we're not getting paid for this ". I was amazed at the boldness of his comment. I requested a call back from the owner, which I didn't receive. I wanted to give him a chance to make things right and to show me that his company gives excellent customer service.
Description of Work: Installedprovider installed a kitchen sink and garbage disposal.. The cut out needed to be expanded I was told there was chance the sawing could cause some damage but I trusted that they had the expertise. Bottom line is that that the sawing cracked the counter,it will now need to be replaced. I was in the house and the tech didn't tell me. I found out when he said he was through. I went to check it out and was truely unhappy. It's true that he told me it could happen.. What really bothered me he didn't tell me it happened, I discovered it will not my own. The sink kit that he tech installed came with a basket strainer they installed their own an billed me $38.00 an un necessary charge. The second project was to fix a bathroom faucet. It needed a cartridge at $48.00. When the tech removed the handle ,he broke the handle said it was old. What now I asked .He answered me "oh I'll just glue it on, just wait 48 hours and then you can use it". I waited 48 hours before using it, lifted the handle, still have a non working faucet. I called the owner to Call, haven't received any call.

Description of Work: Cleared a drain from the outside and the inside. Isaiah was the best plumber I ever saw! He came very promptly after my call, he knew what needed to be done and did it. in the process, he had to remove and reset one toilet and when he was done there was not a speck of dust or debris anywhere - inside or outside. Now that is amazing. I would use them again in a heart beat the next time I need a plumber. Very professional. Not cheap but very professional. If you want the best callBen! Thanks.

I always plan on calling them when I need something. He did not charge me for the last time he came out. Usually, his charges are reasonable.
Description of Work: I have used Ben’s Plumbing. I had them out because I had a leak in my over wall. I wanted his option because I thought it could be plumbing. He came out very quickly and told me that it was not. So, I was able to direct so that it was fixed by the correct person.

+ -1 moreOur home is in Indio. After speaking with Ben Heskett, the owner, about the problem with our shower, we scheduled a service call for the next morning. Ryan Heskett, Ben's son showed up early with the right parts and tools for the repair. While he was here we had Ryan upgrade both toilets and the outside hose valve. The shower valve cartridge cost $87. Each toilet kit was $78. The hose valve was $21. Total parts: $264. Labor was 1.25 hours at $89/hour or $111. The total bill came to $375. The work didn't actually take 1.25 hours but included travel time. Ryan turns out to be a personable, highly skilled young man who demonstrated a respect for our property and a welcomed professionalism. I'd highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Replaced an older Moen shower valve cartridge, rebuilt two toilets with new fill valves, flappers and supply lines and replaced an outside hose valve.

+ -1 moreVery fast response. I called him in the middle of the day and he said he could install it that afternoon. Very good workmanship, he replaced all lines including adding unions so the lines could be removed in the future. Carefully replaced existing vent line which was falling down. He screwed everything together too. Solder work was excellent. I thought about doing the job myself, but I could never lift the unit onto the platform, plus I would have to dispose of the old unit, and I could never do such a good job soldering, and I would have tried to use the old piping (not a good idea). At first the price seemed a little high, but in retrospect it was well worth it. You get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Initially called all plumbers on the list within five miles of my home and got the same. response and estimate. The flapper assembly in one toilet was leaking and so was the valve connecting the water supply to the toilet. All estimates were $150 + and all told me that they would totally replace the entire mechanism in the tank. I made a second call and got Ben himselt and told him in my younger days I had made repairs like this myself and all we needed was a flapper and a valve. Ben said he would come over and if that was all that was needed he would put in those parts for $74 and guarantee the work. He was here within the hour, agreed that all we needed was the flapper and the valve. He completed the work in a half hour and threw in a new flexible hose and gave me his normal guarantee. Ben's Plumbing is a family business and Ben is not only a good plumber, but a good and honest man. We will definitely use Ben if we have any further plumbing problems.

+ -1 moreThe company scheduled a service call immediately. Ryan quickly repaired the leaking Kohler shower faucet and did an excellent job. Due to the extent of the water damage, he was concerned there may be other leaks in the line inside the wall. Since I didn't want to tear out the wall he recommended a leak detection company (also exellent) who came out and confirmed that there were no leaks. The invoice I redeived from Ben's Plumbing invoice was more than fair and I would recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased. Plumbing repairs are never cheap, but I felt that I was fairly treated and got good value for my money. Although the two plumbers seemed very young, they were very polite and professional in their work. They suggested a solution to the dishwasher overflow problem I mentioned, though it will have to wait. I have used Ben's Plumbing in the past, and will continue to do so in the future.
Description of Work: We had Ben's guys (Ryan and Ryan) come out to rebuild the toilet in the master bathroom. We also had them work on another toilet that they had installed the previous year. Our water filter spigot in the kitchen was leaking, and they fixed that. They also repaired a shower bar that my husband had broken. They were very professional and went above and beyond the work I originally requested. They replaced the aerators on several faucets in the bathrooms and kitchen when they noticed the flow was slow (we have had ongoing problems with sand in our water lines). They were here over 2 hours, yet just charged us for 1.5 hours.
