Description of Work: That looks expensive, but I recently had my shoulder replaced and had them pack everything. They came one day and packed and moved the next. (wish I could afford to have them unpack as well) I just remind you to check everything before they leave. If something is damaged it's too late after you sign off. I'm saying this from past experience, not necessarily this move.

Description of Work: Wetzel & Sons Moving & Storage came to my home and provided very detailed estimates for the services in question: 1) long-term storage of a piano, fine art and furniture, 2) moving and long-term storage of boxed household goods, and 3) a move from one home to another. After agreeing to the estimates, service was scheduled and all three services were provided. Move was scheduled over three separate days. Each day the Wetzel team arrived on time and the services were provided on schedule and according to the estimated plan. The team was friendly, courteous, neat, organized and careful with my belongings. I have now used Wetzel several times for additional smaller jobs and been very, very pleased with their service. I will use them again. While Wetzel is not a budget-mover, they are well worth the higher cost.

Excellent experience. They arrived promptly at 7:30 am with six people who quickly jumped in to help pack up many things that were not ready for loading. By 3:00 pm they had the very large trailer fully loaded. Everything was packed very professionally and not one thing was broken.The crew was extra nice and really helped me out in the garage as we were a bit over whelmed with the amount of stuff we had . We had to store our belongings on the trailer at their facility for 30 days (@ $250 per week) while our home was having some remodeling done. On the delivery date they arrived on time at 9:00 am and had everything unloaded by 3:00 pm. We were very happy with the move and glad that we had chosen them as our moving company. Everyone involved, from the scheduler to delivery, were extremely polite and helpful.
Description of Work: Moving the contents of a townhouse to their storage facility, storing it for a month on the trailer, and then moving to our new home.

We moved from Los Angeles to Northern California and they were fantastic. Although my price may seem high, don't forget this was a long distance move and included meals, hotel rooms, gas, etc. This was the fourth move I've done with them and I wouldn't consider using another moving company. I never even bothered to get other estimates - that's how good they are. They have never broken any of my stuff, they were (and have always been) exceedingly helpful, and are, by far, the best movers in the LA area. I have some wonderful art work and they excel at moving large art pieces. It's impossible to find better, more efficient or responsible movers.
Description of Work: They moved me from Los Angeles to Northern California. They moved some things out of storage that I needed with me and put other items into storage that I didn't need right away. They separated the items, never got confused, and everything went to the correct place. They also packed all my stuff.

My fiancand eacute; took care of it. They were great. They came highly recommended from other people. I would use them if I moved again. They got everything here in one piece. They were organized and they did it quickly. They also do storage, which is pretty inexpensive. We have some things in storage that wouldn't fit. When we need it, they will bring it to us. We can also go there but they are not very close.
Description of Work: I used Wetzel & Sons Moving & Storage to pack and unpack a one-bedroom apartment and move it into my two-bedroom apartment.

The 2 man crew came in on one day's notice to move the few heavy items we had not moved ourselves. Very courteous and respectful of what they were moving. These guys are fantastic.

It went smoothly with no extra stress added by the movers.
Description of Work: We have used Wetzel and Sons for five moves and for storage of extra furniture for about three months. They were polite, helpful, efficient, and cooperative, even when we changed our minds about where certain (heavy) pieces of furniture should be placed. They wasted no time and they cleaned up when they were done.

The guys were on time, efficient and careful with our furniture. They quoted me a price that was perhaps a bit higher than what some others were claiming (~90/hr) but since I didn't want my furniture damaged, I decided to go with them. I figure, since they were very efficient, I didn't spend any more than I would have with another company and my furniture was treated very gently. Also, the fees were very clearly explained - no surprise costs. I highly recommend this moving company.
Description of Work: I called to see if they could move some furniture on short notice (the same day) from Westchester to Santa Monica and then to Northridge, and they were very responsive.

It was all arranged and completed in ONE DAY! They responded very quickly, determined that they might be able to do the job, worked with the people being moved to meet with them and see what needed to be moved, did the move, and finished it all - starting at around 9am and finishing a little after 5pm.
Description of Work: Moved a family's belongings from their house, which had just been severely damaged in a fire, to a mobile home.

I called on a Tuesday and they were able to fit me into the schedule for that Friday. They were prompt, efficient, professional, clean and thorough. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. It was a very nice departure from the typical moving experience.

Excellent experience. Wetzel's estimates were dead on. Crew arrived on time, were neat and courteous. They took pictures of the piano from all angles, documented its condition very carefully. Piano was dismantled, each piece wrapped and marked, then transported to Wetzel's facility for long-term storage. My family has used Wetzel for high-value item transport/storage several times. I have always been completely satisfied. A pleasure to deal with.

A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS. THEY ARE PROMPT, POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. DURING EACH OF MY MOVES THE 'IMPORTANT' PIECES WERE BLANKET AND CELLOPHANE WRAPPED. EVERYTHING WAS UNPACKED IN PERFECT CONDITION. I'VE BEEN RECOMMENDING WETZEL TO MY FRIENDS FOR YEARS.

A GOOD INDICATION OF AN COMPANY IS HOW EACH OF THEM ACTED WITH EACH OTHER, THE LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM THAT OCCURRED. MOVING ISN'T FUN. THEY WERE SO HAPPY. THE MORALE WAS HIGH. THEY WERE WELL PAID. THEY WERE KIDDING AND HAD A GREAT TIME. THEY WERE EXUBERANT. THERE WAS SO MUCH STUFF. THERE WAS NOT ONE THING BROKEN OR DAMAGED. THEY WERE JUST SO CRAZY GOOD.
