SMELLY MEL'S PLUMBING

I liked them. I have used them before. My experience with them has always been good. That's why keep calling them back even though it might be possible to find something cheaper. They were prompt and professional. I called them on Wednesday, and they were there on Thursday. They were even early. They came in and surveyed the job. They knew exactly what they needed to do. They went out, got a water heater, came back and put it in. They did a little bit extra in terms of making sure that it was installed correctly because it wasn’t exactly a toss in job and then they left. They were very pleasant, very nice and very helpful.

Easy, fast, affordable.

I was in charge of buildings and grounds for my church and we had a major sewer problem. After having several plumbers out, including my out of town visiting nephew, we chose Smelly Mel's because they seemed to understand the complicated situation - huge tree had just been removed so roots had pushed the sewer line around and it needed to be re-routed. There were more complications but Travis and his crew handled the difficult situation like pros!I continue to recommend them to friends and family!

Overall, we were very happy with Smelly Mells. They responded quickly to help us with the original problem. The representative was very professional and knowledgeable. The technician fixed the initial leak and left the concrete open to return the following day. Upon his return, the pipe was leaking from a different location. They then replaced the broken portion of pipe a second time without changing their original quote. We then decided to leave the concrete open for a week to check for additional leaks. They returned on time on the set date to replace the concrete without any problems. We would definitely recommend them for emergency repairs.

Terrrible! Work was not completed promptly--hole left in garage floor. My complaints went unanswered. After complaining to the BBB and refusing to pay for the job, the company threatened to sue me! After I was finally able to get the owner to see for himself that the work was not completed, he backed down. Would never use this company again!

The price was outrageous ($180) for work (ten minutes)that didn't solve the problem. The company tried to get me to get an additional service that wasn't addressing the problem. Another (local) company came out and determined the blockage was within the toilet itself (since other plumbing fixtures worked). They solved the problem for 2/3 of Mel's Price (which they said was their minimum charge). No senior discount was offered by Mel's.
