I called him and he came out the same day and fixed the problem (when others had advised that I but a new refrigerator as it is 9 years old). He did a great job and saved my family a lot of money by getting it working again. I am very pleased

+ -1 moreWow! I am one happy girl. We got an old O'Keefe and Merritt gas stove that wasn't working. We restored and cleaned all parts before trying to put it back together. We were successful with 2 of the burners, but the stove wouldn't light. Fast forward 2 years of turning the gas on and off every time we wanted to cook something. We found Rod earlier this week and scheduled an appointment. I didn't have any hope of him actually being able to make it work. He just left our house and the stove and grill-evator are now working for the first time for us! Thanksgiving will be at our house this year ;) Rod is knowledgeable, reasonable and a heck of a nice guy. I love it when you find someone that appreciates older classic appliances and can get them working like they're designed to. Thanks Rod!!!

+ -1 morePerfect results with no hassles. Rod Bartz came on time and preformed with no drama. He was an absolute gentlemen. Well mannered, knowledgeable and fair in price.
Description of Work: First visit assessed failed refrigerator temperature and loud noise (broken fan). NO charge. Second visit; replaced condenser/evaporator and replaced fan.

+ -1 moreI was impressed that this company would take the time to discuss the problem over the phone and recommend the best solutions for us, even if that did not generate any income for them.
Description of Work: I called and told them that water was leaking onto the floor from our dishwasher when it ran. He said that 80% of the time the problem is too much soap in the dispensers. He recommended that rather than coming out and charging us for a service call that we just run the dishwasher without soap a couple of times and see if the leaking stopped. It did. After a while the dishwasher started leaking again. I called and described the problem and reminded him of our previous conversation. He asked how old the dishwasher was and the brand. He then told us that based on the age of the dishwasher and the things he would likely have to fix, that we would be better off buying a new dishwasher. We did, and were able to get a brand new one for only about $100 more than a service call and parts probably would have cost us.
