+ -1 moreWe liked him a lot. He was always prompt and seemed like he would do a good job. We ended up going with another contractor because of personal recommendation. He was our number two. The quote was reasonable. He was knowledgeable. We did see his work. We went onsite and to see his work. I would recommend him. With just the little bit of experience that we had, we thought that he was going to work out really well. He got really busy and couldn’t fit into our schedule. We then found someone else. He was very responsive. He gave us a handwritten quote and we wanted something more formal.
Description of Work: Le Blanc Construction gave us a quote for remodeling three bathrooms.

+ 2 more.John Leblanc made a thorough inspection during which I described in detail the work to be done. The job required the removal of a large mound of poor quality, stony soil as well as the removal of a large quantity of coarse gravel and some modifications to a steel reinforced concrete patio. He sent me an estimate in a few days. I agreed to the terms and his crew arrived on time on the appointed day. John's crew worked steadily for 2 1/2 days removing several tons of dirt and gravel and a few rocks all by pick and shovel. They had to use a concrete cutter to shape the patio and all of the debris was loaded on a large truck by wheelbarrow and hauled away. On the third day they brought in approximately one ton of topsoil and spread it over the new plantable area. All debris was swept up and the entire area was left clean and ready to be utilized as a garden/patio. The workers were very open to my suggestions and were willing to do a few extra s such as cutting bevels at the corners of the concrete and bring in good topsoil at no extra charge. I got exactly what I wanted and the job was better than I hoped for
Description of Work: Removed large quantity of debris filled soil and large quantity of gravel, made several cuts in concrete patio, cut metal pipe, hauled away all debris and replaced with large quantity of topsoil.

+ 0 moreGreat work - we are very happy with John LeBlanc and the quality of the work that he performed for us.
Description of Work: We interviewed a number of general contractors for our project which included an extensive remodel of our historical significant house plus a 1,500 sq ft addition. We chose John LeBlanc because of our conversations with other clients of his, who were all really happy with his work. During our construction, we were very pleased with John's honesty and his true caring about the quality of his and his crew's work. He actually tore out some construction that was not done up to his standards and did the work again. John is particularly good at seeing what is presented in drawings and making suggestions for changes and consulting with us on our ideas and the construction progressed. We appreciate John's integrity and honesty and would for sure use him again for another project. I am writing this today primarily because John is coming to make a repair on a door that is not working properly, four years after our house was completed! About a year ago, we had a water drainage problem that was caused by a sub contractor who was not in business anymore. John came over and corrected the problem, which was significant, and did not charge us anything. He obviously takes great pride in his work and stands behind it 100%. He is local and access to him during construction and after is very easy. If you are looking for a great general contractor for new construction or remodeling, I highly recommend John LeBlanc and his company.
