Tony is very personable, worked with me on pricing, listened to exactly what I wanted, was always available through phone if I needed him and not to mention they scheduled and got the job done FAST! Anything you may want they can do, I highly recommend! It's amazing what a little paint job can do to your home. Other contractors contacted for estimates didn't bother to call back for appointment. Fransisco made the appointment and was early. He provided detailed explanation of the scope of the work to be done. Quote was reasonably priced and the paint supplier had a lot of high praise for their quality of work and attention to detail. The job should be finished tomorrow and it looks real good. The crew has been very busy tending to the details of the prep work. They take great pride in their work. Great job... Start to finish.

I received a prompt quote from Tony and Francisco shortly after submitting my request. Once I accepted the proposal the work was scheduled within a week and completed in 4 days as promised. The crew was courteous and accommodating. Tony and Francisco monitored the project from start to finish. Great company to do business with.

Tony was initially very late to the estimate appointment because he got me confused with someone else. He apologized and I felt that was fine. The pricing was initially fine. The painting work on the outside of the house was okay. There were a lot of spots in the stucco that didn't get good paint coverage. He initially described that they paint with a sprayer up, down, left, and right. That method should cover very well, so it appears they didn't really paint the way they said they would. Over six months later I'm still finding spots that didn't get painted and am touching those up myself. They also missed a complete side of a platform in back that they had to paint later, as well as some other touchups. We had initially contracted them to also paint the outside of our front doors as part of the job. When it came time to do that, Tony said that wasn't included because we were getting new doors. I told him, as we originally discussed, that those would still get painted and they would come back and do it after the install since it wasn't done by the time painting started. He said the quote didn't include any exterior door painting. However, I pointed out to him that they did paint the side door to the garage, so his argument did not hold up. I paid them extra to paint the inside of the doors though, since we originally did not discuss any interior painting. Initially they got the wrong color paint for the inside of the doors so it needed to be painted twice. The painter got a lot of paint on the windows of the doors, which were frost tinted. When he scraped the paint off he scratched and removed some of the frost tint on all the windows. When I brought that up to Tony, he accused me of having the frost tint installed after the painting of the house, which wouldn't matter anyway. I sent him the invoice from over 2.5 years earlier for the frost tint install to prove that it was already there when he quoted the painting job. Tony also accused me of lying about the damage to the frost tint, saying that it was there already and the painter was a pro and wouldn't have damaged the frost tint. Tony's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. He's nice and courteous at the beginning, but becomes accusatory and doesn't taking full responsibility when there are issues. He eventually said to get the frost tint fixed and take that cost out of the total for the painting of the doors, which we did.

Giles Painting was fast, talked to them late morning and they were at my house that evening giving me a quote. They came the next day to paint and I could't be happier. The quality of the job is notch! Will definitely be using them again.

Giles Painting is a top notch company. They have a wonderful crew who works quickly, cleanly and reliably. They were the lowest estimate of the 4 painting companies with Home Advisor. Communication was great. I highly recommend the company and would use them again.

We live in Hawaii and have a 2800 sq ft rental property in Moorpark. We have not seen the house in over 10+ years as we have a property management company overseeing this house. Much to our dismay, we received a letter from the HOA stating the soffits, facia, rafters and fence needed repair and painting. We contacted over 10 contractors and Giles Painting responded immediately by going over to the house and taking pictures for us. We were upset to see the condition the tenants and property management company allowed our house to deteriorate. Francisco and Tony assured us they would get everything back to new condition. In a weeks time, with daily communication from them on the progress they completed the work. Not only did they do a fantastic job and were very professional, they also found live 220V wires that were exposed and secured this as well. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Francisco, Tony and their crew for giving us piece of mind over 2500+ miles away. One look no further than Giles Painting as they are the ultimate professionals in work, customer service and costs.

I interviewed 5 others including Giles for painting the exterior of my mobile. I choose Tony because he was knowledgeable, professional and on time. I am extremely pleased with Giles, Tony listened to what I wanted and offered great suggestions for improving I had not thought of. He and his team started and finished on time. They took extreme care in prep and of my belongings. The whole crew was courteous and happy while they worked, which says alot to me about the company. All of my neighbors were very impressed with the job they did and how quickly. I recommend them highly.

They were already in the area working and were able to start work two days later. Three days after that they were done with the sheetrock repair and the painting was complete also! The rooms look great. We'll be calling Giles for our next painting job for sure.

The crew that painted our home should be highly commended for putting up with our 2 small dogs. They don't like strangers in their house and they would not stop barking and growling. But the guys just smiled and took it in stride. They made sure their movements were very slow and non threatening towards the dogs. We appreciated this very much and this is just one reason why we would use them again.
