MY WINDOW MAN

Very, very poor quality. Left streaks and corners and edges are a mess. the worst part is that he did not clean the tracks, and made them worse when he let the muddy water solution run down the inside and outside sills and tracks and did not even wipe it up. I spent 3 hours re doing and cleaning up after him as seen in the photos. Estimate was for cleaning windows, tracks and screens. We had removed, cleaned the screens and replaced, moved the furniture so all he did was the windows and that made a worse mess of the tracks with the muddy run off. He spent 1 hour and I spent 3 cleaning up after him.

I called for an appt and. left a message which was very promptly returned. The company representative was very professional on the telephone. I was given a choice of any day or time which suited my schedule, given a follow-up reminder call, and the window cleaning team of two arrived on time. They were polite and friendly. The main reason I will not use this company again: their employees did not wear bootees in the house, neither did they remove their shoes; therefore, when they left I had quite a big job cleaning and vacuuming mud from floors, shower, bath and carpets. I would have thought it was a no-brainer that when you are working on windows outside which entails walking on muddy flower beds etc., you would automatically remove those shoes (which must have been caked with mud!) upon entering the house. Unfortunately, I was working in my home office the entire time and was not monitoring events but I assumed I wouldn't have to stand over them reminding them to do something as basic as remove their shoes. The cleaning job was fair. The windows definitely look better and the screens were cleaned nicely, but I had to remove residual streaks from several of the windows. The window frames and ledges were not cleaned; perhaps I should have requested this for an extra charge but my prevous window-cleaning company automatically cleaned the window surround as part of their service. I had high hopes of this company as their customer service person is excellent, but I was disappointed with the quality of the workmanship.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THOROUGH. EACH WINDOW AND DOOR LOOKED GREAT, INCLUDING SOME (VERY HIGH UP AND HARD TO REACH) THAT HAD A YEAR'S WORTH OF DIRT AND GRIME, AND SOME WITH PAINT SPLATTERS. I HAVE USED THIS SERVICE THREE TIMES NOW AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
