Lou is a great guy whose guys do impeccable work and is way reasonably priced. Lou will come out and take a look at what you're doing and gives great ideas. After having done enough of these, he brings up some great thoughts on what will and, more importantly, will NOT work. I mean, I'm designer challenged and who the heck knows what type of granite goes well with maple cabinets? Not me...so Lou was very helpful in focusing me on lightness/darkness and color combinations. That's where hie excels; in helping you avoid design pitfalls. His guys are great...friendly and professional. Their installation is flawless...I watched them lift my huge island slab a couple of times in order to make sure there was sufficient support at all points. I mean, I wouldn't have even bothered after seeing how they struggled to set it down the first time, much less the third time. They also are very clean. All granite jobs require some sort of jobsite adjustments, which means dusty saw-cutting. But with the expert use of a water bottle and diamond blade, they kept the dust virtually non-existent. Modern Marble is timely and came when they said they would....the kind of guys you let in your house, with your valuables hanging around and not have to even give it a second thought. Anyhow, I would highly recommend LI Modern Marble (and have!). Pricing is great. Installation is flawless and cleanly.
