PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY. When two employees came to my house allegedly to clear the main sewer line, I was nervous about signing the contract a second time, so one employee stood in the doorway and blocked my ability to escape while another employee backed me up against a wall while standing an inch from me so I could not move; threatened me that I better sign the contract; and forced me to sign a contract under protest, which I wrote on the contract, even though I was not given the chance to review the contract or the work they claimed to have done that day but did not. Then, when I tried to take what I was told was my copy of the contract from the clipboard it was attached to, the employee, without asking for the contract back, balled up his fists and moved them toward me and I really thought I was going to be hit. The employee then suddenly pulled clipboard with the contract out of my hands so hard that the invoice ripped and I lost my balance and had to step back and to the side to stop myself from falling. It was very terrifying since I was in my own home and the only people around were the two employees who were both much bigger than me. It started when I called them to clean out a main sewer line. While there, the employees said I had roots in my main sewer line and I needed to have the main line hydrojetted. (As it turned out, there were no roots in the main line according to another plumber.) The employees kept trying to tell me that I needed things I actually did not need. For example, they said I needed a new toilet that was already relatively new. They said I needed a new drain pipe that would cost $6,000.00 before I asked a lot of questions, after which they finally said I did not need a new drain pipe. I had signed the contract for a first time when they told me what needed to be done. Though I did pay them, I told them I did not want to sign the written contract a second time due to the things they said to me. That is when they threatened me and corned me against a wall and forced me to sign the contract under protest. As it turned out, they did not clear out the main sewer line. I ended up having to hire another company to come to and actually clear out the main sewer line. When I called the police, they said it was not a criminal matter but a civil matter and I could go to court. Please beware.

Drain Masters was awesome! We had water backing up in most of the drains in the house including the toilet and shower. We had two other plumbers out to look at the issue and those two hardly spent any time loo king for a solution and just provided me a quote and tried the hard sell approach. Guy was the name of the gentleman that came out. Guy rearranged a bit of his schedule and spent two days assessing the problem and fixing. We were without water for three days before Guy came out because of the wait time of the other two plumbers. Drain Masters sent someone urgently the same day to start fixing our issue and providing a temporary solution. Guy provided me a quote to do the job and our situation became a much larger problem than anyone thought. Guy stuck to the reasonable quote provided and even stayed until 11:30pm on a Saturday night so we could use our water, shower, clean dishes etc. We are truly grateful to Drain Masters and appreciate their quality workmanship and reasonable prices and being so professional. I definitely recommend this company for clogged drains pipes and I sure many other plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Unclogged a main sewer line where the house did not have a cleanout opening to snake the house.
