Description of Work: We had a concrete patio which was in need of resurfacing and sealing. We had cracks and areas where the surface was completely gone. They removed all items in the work area, inspected for loose materials and removed them. Filled any chips/divots, added decorative scores to the surface to match the pattern we already had, prepped and cleans all areas, patched areas as needed, recoated the entire patio with and sealed the area. When they were done with the job they cleaned up and replaced all items back to their original locations. They were very cordial, professional and helpful with the entire process. Explained everything clearly and told us how to care for our patio.

+ -1 moreKevin, showed up on time for the estimate for our patio. We had thought about doing our garage for awhile so as he was here we asked him to give us an estimate on the garage too. The price seemed competitive so we hire Kevin. He told us he could do the job in 2 weeks and schedule us. He started the job as scheduled. Kevin's customer service is fantastic. He answers your questions, and messages timely. We had the job done in the spring of 2013. We love the garage, and have had many complements on the patio. Kevin had told us that if anything should come up he would take care of it. In June, I called him because a section of the patio had some white streaks in it and wondered if he could check it out? He came and looked, and felt it needed another coat of sealer. He re-sealed my whole patio again with another coat. Again, great customer service.:)
Description of Work: We had our garage coated and concrete patio resurfaced with texture and stain.

On his vacation, Kevin arranged for a second sealer coat by having his assistant source the material at a location 75 miles away from my home. Not only did they make a special trip for the material, but they applied it the same day.

+ -1 moreContacted and asked for some additional flakes to try to patch an area myself where the coating had lifted up due to efflorescence -- didn't know that was a problem before we purchased this home -- was told there was a paint spill there in the garage. Kevin got back to me immediately and scheduled an appointment at my convenience to inspect the area. When he showed up (on time) he quickly assessed the situation and scheduled an appointment to return and fix the problem. He re-ground the area, treated it, and finished it off to match the surrounding floor. I was not attempting to make a warranty claim, frankly, I didn't recall the warranty terms. He took care of the problem and the floor looks as good as new ... This company is EXCELLENT!!!!!
Description of Work: Warranty call back. Some problems with the floor, not at all due to the vendor.

Description of Work: Kevin and his crew prepped the driveway to remove some bad oil stains then put down the base coat and texture. The following day they applied the antique finish and coating.

+ 0 moreThe work was down exactly on schedule at the price quoted. He was careful to tape over some cabinets where we did not want dust entering. He cleaned up on each of the 2 days he was here. The finished product is excellent - so much better than bare concrete. And it cleans up well and easily, too.
Description of Work: John did minor repair on cracks in both a 2-car and a 1-car garage. He then cleaned the floors, ground them, applied an epoxy coat, then a polyurethane coat.

+ -1 moreJohn, the guy who came was very responsive and very down-to-earth. He actually let me work with them, because I wanted to know what they were doing. He explained the process, and they went. They even came in on a Sunday after the floors were done, because I wanted another primer on top. He came in and did it for free. He is a really good guy.

Ground floor of garage with large diamond grinder Ground raised foundation portions with handheld grinder All with huge vacuum system Patched floor to ensure even floor (minor cracks and pits) Cleaned dust and also cleared out any debris in expansion joints Applied epoxy base coat and spread heavy layer of flakes Let set until following day. Scraped off flakes leaving a smooth but gritty texture (no slip) Applied two coats of non-yellowing sealant

+ 0 moreWe had tolerated a cracked, ordinary [ugly], good-sized patio in our back yard for years and were referred to this fine company whose principals do the work. The work is actually art. See their website. John, the owner, personally visited and evaluated our needs, promptly submitted his bid in writing, scheduled the work, and in a portion of three consecutive days transformed our patio from an eyesore to a source of pride. All who have seen the work are amazed. I can recommend this company without reservation and will use no one else for such work in the future.
Description of Work: On Day 1, they repaired and filled in cracks in our back yard patio, removed rotten 2 x 4 expansion joints, created new ones of different material and ground down and leveled the surface in prep for their sprayed overlay finish done Day 2 with first a solid coat followed by an accent coat on the third day. We chose a random flagstone pattern that was drawn in chalk in various sizes and shapes from which we selected the idea we liked. All of this is custom work and the customer is involved throughout the process.

Description of Work: I wanted to come on here at Angie's to let everyone know that this company, John and Kevin not only blew me away with what they were able to do to fix up my walkways that were loaded with coats of paint over the years, along with huge cracks and much unevenness. I am amazed how nice it came out.! John and Kevin worked very hard and put the time into the project to get it to where they were happy, hence I was happy. 110% is what they are all about.

+ -1 moreJohn saved us thousands of dollars. I would use him and recommend him without a question. He is totally reliable; totally available; totally honest; and a pleasure. John and his partner Kevin are a joy to work with.
Description of Work: We have a massive long concrete driveway with major cracks and raised portions. We had estimates of $60,000 to $100,000 for stones set in sand, $60,000 for a new concrete driveway, and $30,000 to $40,000 for repairing sections with non-matching concrete. Concrete renewals resurfaced the entire driveway plus a huge walkway in the front of our home for $20,000. The reinforce badly cracked parts; etch out crack lines to make the "stamped concrete" look and cut in additional "crack" lines to make it uniform. An epoxy finish is used which comes in various colors and textures. Because of an unexpected rain, he had to make a couple of minor color adjustments, which is did promptly and perfectly. Eventually, due to trees, trucks on the driveway and settling, cracks will appear again (as with all concrete), but the cracks can be easily repaired using the same method used for the entire driveway.
