 + -1 moreI wished I had known of Angie's list before. AllaVDesign said that to make me a blousy top to go with my green gala gown would be $65.00 (other seamstresses would charge $50.00 but they couldn't have it for the needed date). Alla had me try it the day before the wedding (I had taken the materials over 10 days before), so, I had to pick it up on my way to the wedding. Alla did a good sewing job; the top was as cute as I had expected, but at the last minute she RAISED HER PRICE to $150.00 (more than 130%). In shock and upset, I had to pay that unfair price to get to my daughter's wedding on time. Ugh!! MAKE SURE YOU GET HER QUOTED PRICE IN WRITING.
