Joe came out and gave us a good price on trimming up our trees. He was actually able to get the work done ahead of schedule. We asked him about pollarding the trees, but he told us that this would be too aggressive for the trees. He did a great job on the trimming. While he was there we asked him to remove another tree that was causing problems for us and our neighbor. All went very well.

Initial contact was by phone and a date was established to obtain an estimate for service. Joe McCoy arrived on time and was very thorough in explaining what work would be done and even broke down the estimate by individual tree and the fee for use of the chipper. The crew arrived at the agreed upon time and immediately set to work with two individuals working each tree (one on the ground and one in the tree) and additional crew members hauling and feeding the limbs into the chipper. They raked and cleaned as the work progressed and other than some sawdust and stray wood chips (which I told them to leave and I would clean up) the work site was close to immaculate when they left. The owner, Joe McCoy, was pleasant to work with and very personable. He was in complete charge of the tree crew, although they required very little guidance, and maintained contact with me throughout the entire time, both before and during the actual work. I cannot find fault with any phase of the work, from the initial meeting and quote until they drove off after finishing the job. I would highly recommend McCoy's tree service and would not hesitate to use them for any type of tree related service.

Both father and son cut the three trees down, cleaned the area and chipped up the brush for disposal. They removed all the wood. The son returned and planted three trees to replace what we had removed. We have had difficulty with one of the trees and the son return three times to fix a support post. He has been very responsible in taking care of the trees.

The company representative responded immediately with a bid and was able to start and finish the job the following week. They were professional, fast, had a large crew of family members and were very organized. I have hired them before and liked them and I would hire them again. I'm very pleased with the overall experience.
