Superbly. The guys were on time, personable, helpful and reasonable. The price was several hundred dollars cheaper than other companies were going to charge. I will definitely use them again, and intend to pass on their name to a real estate broker and others who I know may need the service.

Fine.... workers were a little "rough around the edges" so I may hesitate to call on them for some clients (I am a Realtor and used them for one of my sellers).

Asked in advance if they could arrive early, which was fine with me! My list had dwindled significantly by pickup day, and they adjusted the price accordingly, on the spot. Nice group of guys. Will definitely call them again.

They were there a little early which worked for me. Removed two couches and hauled them away. It was a little more than what they expected but they stuck to the quoted price.

A&J was great. They were able to come out the same day I called them, and were punctual (in fact a bit early because they had finished the previous job quicker than they thought). The crew was headed by Bobby and he had two guys with him, and it took them all of about 60 seconds to load my debris into their truck. They were very polite, friendly and professional. They charged me their minimum rate which was $100. My only regret is I forgot to tip the guys, but they were here and gone so quickly I didn't think of it until it was too late.

Services were done on time and quickly. They even called and could come earlier than the scheduled date. Crew was thorough and up front with info and kept me informed as the day progressed. Guys were very polite and got to work immediately upon arrival.

They called back promptly within 30 minutes of my call to them. I took photos on my phone of the items I wanted removed and then sent them to A&J Hauling. I was given a tentative quote and hired them because it was very reasonable. They came two days later with their own tools and carts to carry the items and quickly and efficiently took away the debris. I paid a little extra from the quote because they had to move the items from my yard to their truck and the items were pretty far away (I live on an acre) and they had no way to tell that from the photos. They were quick, clean, neat, reasonably priced, prompt and I will definitely hire them again when the rest of the wall is knocked down.

We had A 30 year old aviary which was being used as a storage shed at the rear of our property. The roof was rotting and leaking and generally only rats and raccoons were getting any benefit out of the structure. I looked up hauling companies on Angies List and contacted A&J for a quote to demolish the structure and haul it away. They were at my property the following business day and provided me a $ quote and available times they could do the work. Since it was a larger job we scheduled it for the following day. The crew arrived on time as agreed and completed the job the same day as agreed. They were very professional and cleaned up everything upon completion of the work. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They arrive on time, in uniform, with clean trucks that have proper signage. They are licensed, insured, competent, polite and ready to load. They are very creative figuring out how to remove unusual large items, and finding ways to get around obstacles in the path. They work quickly and steadily. They know how to pack the truck bed or trailer tightly, which could mean a difference in price category. They are properly licensed to haul E-Waste and Recycling - like mattresses and appliances. They will also haul concrete or dirt -in separate loads. My research to acquire competitive bids indicated that A & J Hauling was seriously cheaper than Waste Management, and 1-800-Got Junk. They were more flexible with their scheduling and were able to arrive quicker than the others. They provided a price structure that allowed us to know in advance the costs of a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or full load. They arrived on site, loaded, then cleaned up the area so no mess was left behind, and they took the trailer away immediately. The homeowners were pleased they didn't have a huge trailer parked in front of the building for 3 days taking up street parking, as Waste Management does. When they came to my home and mother-in-law's home, they left the trailer for our use over the weekend, which allowed us to hire a crew to assist us with clearing our acre of land. They have performed excellent work at my home in Orinda, and for my Associations in Walnut Creek, Oakland, Martinez and Benicia, They cleared my mother-in-laws home in Concord.after she passed away, providing labor to help remove carpeting, sheetrock and other renovation debris. I believe if you call around to all the haulers, and compare pricing and scheduling, you will be calling A & J Hauling as I did.

On time, reasonable price, and very courteous and friendly.

They arrived almost an hour beyond the 2-hour time slot, but they did telephone towards the end of that 2 hour slot to tell me they were running late and apologized for the delay. They calculated the cost of the debris to be $450 which was higher than I expected but explained they are charged by weight and not by volume. We had 3 heavy wood panels and lots of individual wood from a fence we removed plus tree limbs. I accepted their price. They did have a full load, and swept the driveway clean. Both employees were very polite and did a great job!

Unbelievably great service. I was way off on my estimates for the amount that I needed hauled away from a addition that I was doing on my house. These guys just kept bringing the trailers as fast as I needed them and when I needed them. They even brought me a trailer on the weekend so that I could continue to move forward with my project. Their pricing was more than fair and I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks Guys.

They unloaded a U-Haul truck and dispersedmy furniture. They are very careful and very neat and also rates are at a fair in price. I have used them in the past. He is a very sweet man who is prompt and efficient.
