Description of Work: Fixed a garden gate, built a greenhouse step, put a garden hose real in cement to stabilize it, washed all my outside light fixtures that required a ladder for me to reach, tightened my sun screens. He was very polite, and happily did all that I asked him to do. I feel it was the bargain of the year!!

Description of Work: Solid General Construction fixed dry rot by replacing four panels of siding and the side garage door including the frame. They also fixed bricks coming loose on the front of my house, fixed some of my fence posts that were rotting, and washed some moss away growing on the side on the chimney. They corrected mistakes done by the original builders. All of the work was done professionally and priced reasonably. They were also on the job early every day and I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to somebody else.

Description of Work: I used the contact information and called Nick Bossio about replacing some T-1-11 sideing on my home around the 23rd of June. He stated that he would come to my home and giving me an estimate at 10:00 on Friday the 26. He had my address and phone number. He did not show up and did not call. I realize that this is a busy time for construction industry, but a phone call would have been the appropriate vehicle to use to let me know he could not make it or he was not interested in the job.

Description of Work: Fixed my fence & did some caulking on siding around my front door. Job was done well & friendly serviceman. A little mix-up with the appointment time but was corrected promptly. Overall, a good value.

Description of Work: my fence was repaired very well and sturdy. the job was more complicated than they thought but they handled it all and we are very satisfied with the fence and repairs.

Description of Work: I hired them to replace a board in fence which had become loose, and that did not take long so I had them replace top rotting boards of two six foot benches with new redwood. They cleaned up after their work and took away the discarded materials. They had good communication skills which made them easy to work with. The only negative thing I recall is that over a week went by after I initially phoned in response to the special so I phoned again. Apparently, the administrative side of their operation had not recorded my initial call, but they immediately put me on their schedule for the next day.

Description of Work: We had our side fence replaced. Nick and his assistant we here on time did a great job and cleaned everything up when they were done. They did the job in one day. Nick is so easy to work with. We will use him again in the future if we have a need for a general contractor.

Description of Work: Rebuilt a gate for the backyard fence. I am satisfied with the work that was done.

Description of Work: Repaired dry rot in corner of window casing and bottom of left and right sides of garage door casing. Got it all done in the 4 hrs. allotted. Cleaned up completely after finishing. Very pleased with their work. Would recommend to a friend.

Description of Work: They received a "B" for punctuality because even though they were on time, they were supposed to show up between 12 and 2 and showed up without calling at 11:30 which would have been wonderful had I not been out of the immediate area, visiting a sick friend. The price seemed steep for materials- two fence posts, four-five fence slats, concrete and nails. They got concrete all over one of my sprinkler heads, which if I had not brought it to their attention, may not have worked after the concrete set.

Description of Work: When our stove and microwave went out we determined it was an electrical problem so we called Nick Bossio of Solid General Construction. Nick was able to come out and discovered it was a fuse that was off in our fuse box. He flipped the switch and everything came back on. He didn't charge us for a service call.
