The job went as planned but we were are not satisfied with the workmanship of MDI. There were several workscope items that were not completed, done incorrectly and had to be re-done, or were not done to the agreed workscope. Although the bid clearly stated new wire runs for the entire house, the electrician started by adding a ground wire to the old outlet boxes. He also tried to wire the new service panel into the old panel in order to reuse the distribution runs, which were in place from 1954. All of this work had to be redone once it was discovered that they were either inadvertently or purposely using old wiring. There are holes in the floors that were not patched, drywall that was not closed, and visible old wiring/conduit that was not removed. The new service panel circuit labels were scribed by hand in thick black magic marker. The brand new wiring in the brand new service panel is not neat in the slightest degree and looks like a birds nest. Overall, we are disappointed with outcome of the job.

They did a good job. They came in and took care of everything. They were OK. The pricing was good. It was what I could afford. I probably would use them again.

I hired MDI to install 2 doors in my home. The job they did was absolutely ridiculous. They left 1/2 in - 1 in. space between the frame and wall and not just 1 door, both doors. I was even more mortified when I realized that they were going to leave it like and thought that this was fine. I had to call someone back out and they were eventually repaired. I am just appalled that they were okay with their work. Its just unacceptable. Would not use them again.

Nothing speaks more then a referral. I was referred to MDI by my friend and realtor. My experience with MDI exceeded by expectations!I was in the process of moving into a new home and wanted a number of projects done. The customer service and work speaks for itself! They are professional and committed to getting the job done right. I was constantly well informed about the progress and they were very responsive to my questions/concerns during the whole process. I appreciated them striving to make their customers happy and satisfied.Moving and home projects can be stressful, but MDI did a great and clean job each day! They made it very seamless and comfortable to walk into the home daily during the duration of their work. When all the work was done and I had my walk-thru, I was happy to not just be walking into my new house, but a place I can finally call home. Looking forward to using them in the near future for exterior painting and landscaping. I can't reiterate enough the diligence and commitment this team provided.
