ENERGY ELECTRIC

Marc, Marty, and Pepe arrived at 7:15 a.m. in the morning ready to go. I was impressed by their prep work, carefully placing and taping tarps on the floors in all the work areas before starting the actual job. They worked carefully and quickly to finish the job in a timely fashion. They were highly professional, explaining exactly what they were planning to do and asking us for input as needed. Upon completion of the job, they cleaned the work area, vacuumed the floor, and took all the old fixtures to the dump. The whole experience was an A+ and typical of what we now expect from Energy Electric since this about the fifth time we have utilized their services.

Four outlets in our house failed. After a string of hack electricians from the Yellow Pages made me fearful of our house's electric system, I decided to consult Angie's List and found Energy Electric. Not only did they solve our difficult-to-diagnose problem, but they found several other failures-waiting-to-happen and corrected them proactively. Not only is everything now working, but I feel much safer at home. And the price was incredibly reasonable, much less than I feared for the excellent service provided. Now that we've found Energy Electric, we no longer live in fear of electric repairs and we're actually planning on upgrading the electric service in our house.

Marc came out to bid the job and I was immediately impressed. He had tools and checked everything before giving his estimate. Energy Electric was the only contractor we have ever encountered that stuck to their bid. Marc quoted a time and price to complete a job. It took longer to do, but he honored the price he quoted us. His employee found several other issues that we were not aware of (one being a fire hazard as the wires were cut and not capped off and buried under insulation and drywall). Thank God, we chose them to fix the mistakes made by this other group. Marc came by to check the work of his employee prior to billing us. We ended up giving Energy Electric more work on the main house that needed repairs. Once again, their efficiency, professionalism and caring work has impressed me and my husband which is not an easy feat. We will use them in the future and we would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for assistance with your electrical work.

Timely came out to provide the estimate, arrived on time to do the job, did the work quickly and professionally, were careful to ask me about things that might matter to me (height of the chandelier and lights, location of the switch, etc), cleaned up after themselves.

I am very pleased with Energy Electric and will definitely call them for my future electrical needs. After my initial contact with Mark he called me back promptly. He came out to my home within a day or so to evaluate the work to be done and provided a written estimate, and scheduled the service date within a week. On the service date, he and his brother arrived early and got the work done within an hour for the quoted amount. They took time to lay tarps to keep the floors clean, and Mark took a few minutes to discuss future projects with me. I highly recommend Energy Electric.

I contacted several electricians including the one recommended by the lighting store where we purchased the chandelier and the quotes with either much higher than Energy or they said they could not install in a 16 foot ceiling. Energy installed the chandelier quickly and made fine height adjustments to make sure it fit perfect. Without my asking, they offered a discount for finding them on Angie's List.

Marc showed up bright and early at our door and inside of 15 minutes had the main issue pegged. Half our home's power was gone and I believed it had to do with the breaker panel. Never thought to check the plugs. Marc found the faulty plug on the second try. He also took a good look at the panel, gave us some idea on how to go about getting it fixed in the future for another problem we havebeen experiencing but that comes and goes. What I liked about Marc is that he didn't assume we were made of money and he offered lower cost solutions for every situation we have, giving us clearly the pros and cons of each. In addition, Marc is personable, sharp, he obviously knows what he is doing and he is reasonably priced. I think I finally found an electrician I can trust and that I will actually enjoy working with in the future.

He had to wire the fan to a loft switch. We also had another ceiling fan that was currently up and needed to get wired to a loft switch. He was friendly and prompt. He got right back after I had called him and left a message to get back to me. He managed to come within the next few days. I wanted to get the job done in a hurry. The price was good too.

The electrician, Mark ~ the business owner, arrived on time, actually early since he called that morning to say he could arrive earlier if that was okay. He arrived on time and with a smile on his face. He assessed the situation, listened to what it was I wanted, collaborated with me about reaching the end result, then started working. His attention to detail was appreciated. He draped and taped the area where he worked, catching all the messy debris from the job. Even though it wasn't a straight line from start to finish, Mark professionally steered the corners and navigated the unexpected with ease. He got the job done and done well. In a soundbite: he cut a rectangle in the wall, up high, where the outlet would go. Then he snaked a wire down to the existing outlet to connect the electricity. A wooden block prohibited passage half way down so he had to cut another hole there in order to access the block of wood to cut a hole in it so the wires could reach the live outlet by the baseboard. Friendly, Professional, Timely, Efficient, Knowledgeable, Trustworthy are the words I would use to describe Mark. An electrician I highly recommend!

They were very good. They are professional and clean. They discovered a problem that we did not know we had. We have used them several times in the past and we would continue to use them.

This company was easy to deal with. They were the lowest out of 2 other companies that we looked into and were more prepared with a taller ladder. They came out and made adjustments and then installed our lighting. We were happy to deal with such good guys who were pleasant to deal with. We will consider them in the future.

He was able to fix the problem easily and did not charge us. I felt he was very honest.

Marc and his brother are real professionals and extremely nice guys. All the work was expertly done,and I would call them again in a minute. Their rates are very reasonable.

They were awesome to work with. They were very fun, funny, and personable. We have an older house so some of the switches are reversed and they took the time to fix some of those for free. I would recommend them. They were very reasonably priced. I would call them back for anything.

After contacting Mark, we agreed on a time to meet. Prior to arriving, Mark confirmed when he would be there and actually arrived a few minutes early. After hearing our story and asking a few questions, he opened up both switches for the kitchen light. He saw where the ground wire had been arcing (touching) the hot terminal of one of the switches. Within a few minutes, the problem was solved and a hazardous situation avoided. This problem existed from the time the house was built.

The job went smoothly. Electrician worked neatly, respectfully, and happily. There were no problems.

We were very pleased with Energy Electric. They were fast and efficient. They scheduled the work less than a week after we received their estimate. In fact, we got 4 or 5 estimates and Energy Electric was at least $1,000 below the next bid. Normally, we wouldn't necessarily go with the lowest price, except for the fact that they got such rave reviews on Angie's List that we felt confident we were making the right choice (and we did). I was extremely worried about having to cut a large hole in the laundry room to run wires up to the new subpanel. We have a 1950's home with lath and plaster walls and I've heard it's difficult to repair and make smooth and even. They put in the subpanel, hardly disturbing the wall around it! I was also worried about the wall around the light fixture in the nook and about whether or not they would space it appropriately or just throw it in there. Again, I was not dissappointed. Additionally, we were told it was possible that one of the counter tiles might get cracked when putting the outlet in the kitchen. The outlet went in and the tile was fine. I highly recommend this company. They did a fantastic job. The only issue I had was that in some cases they put a new outlet next to an old one, rather than pulling out the old outlet casing and using the existing hole, which they did in some cases and not in others. There may have been a communication issue... I wasn't there during the work. **We hired Energy Electric again a couple of weeks later when we decided to ground the refrigerator outlet and install a new outlet in the kitchen for the microwave and toaster oven so we could make more space on the counter. They responded to my call on a Friday and had someone at the house on Monday morning.

They arrived on time and were thoroughly professional, cordial, and easy to work with, taking care to work with me to get optimum placement of the can lights. They worked fast and were finished by early afternoon. The cleanup and patching of the ceiling were excellent. The cost was as agreed upon. Incidentally, this was the lowest of the three bids I got for this project.

Marty and Josh arrived on time. Their work was well done and professional. They handled the challenges with professionalism and good spirits. I asked them to do a few extra things and they handled the extras well.

This was a wonderful experience. I phoned Marc this morning and he was out of town working in Napa. As soon as he got back to town, he changed trucks and came over to my home. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it. He worked well with my dog who was anxious to play with him. Marc is very pleasant and professional and clearly is an expert and knows what he is doing. I would call on him anytime to help with electrical issues and will highly recommend him to others.

When they came out to do the work, they did a nice job. They were professional, and they cleaned up their work when they were done.

We had used this company before and have been very happy with their work. We called them originally this time because our dryer stopped working, and we thought it was an electrical problem. Josh found that there was merely a problem with the bent vent, so he corrected it and refused to charge us for the call. We then set a time for him to come in and install the recessed lighting. He always responded quickly to our call, called us back immediately, the crew worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. We intend to have him come back and do more electrical work for us.

Excellent work at a very reasonable price describes my experience with Energy Electric. In particular, I really appreciated Marc's suggestions. For example, originally I gave no thought to installing over-the-counter lighting (I was also in the process of replacing kitchen cabinets) until Marc suggested it. He convinced me that if I was ever going to do it, now would be the time. I agreed and I'm very happy with the results. Overall, excellent work, dependable and efficient.

I found Energy Electric on Angie's List. Because the recommendations were so positive, I called Marc. Due to the nature of the job, he was able to quote the job over the phone and we set an appointment. I was very pleased with the skill of the staff. They were in and out of the job as promised.
