The service was fine.

No problem.

This was a great experience and now I have an electrician for any time I need such work done. It is hard to find reliable honest people and Marc is and was. Please see former comment for details on job, which could not be completed due to my error, but how nice he was about it.

It went very well. I called to get an estimate which I got over the phone based on my description of what was needed. This saved me a whole day of having to arrange for someone to come in for an estimate before work could be scheduled. The work was scheduled for the next day. The workers showed up several minutes early but appeared to be prepared to wait the extra 15 minutes if necessary, asking me if they were too early. The job was done in about an hour. My only disappointment (minor) was that the tube carrying the new wires is external to the wall and so is not hidden from view. My guess is to have it hidden within the wall would have cost a heck of a lot more from any contractor. Considering we're on a budget this will work.

I cannot say enough about how great this company is. I will NEVER use any other electrical contractor than NRG Electric. Marc responded to my call in a prompt manner, came by when he said he would and gave me a written estimate within a day or two. I contacted several companies on Angie's List, he was by far the most professional and easy to deal with. We bought a large home several months ago and have always worried about the electrical. It was clear the prior owner had done a lot of things themselves that weren't to code or necessarily safe. When he came to do the estimate, he immediately noticed 2 major safety issues; one was a sub-panel in the house that had not been wired to code, and the other was the wiring used in the kitchen countertop outlets was inadequate, which explains why they had stopped working! The other 2 companies I contacted didn't even notice these issues. His estimate was right in the middle and he gave me a slight discount to get his price a little closer to the lowest. He fit me in right away, Josh and Pepe, his employees were here 4 days (they were originally scheduled for 2!). They were very professional, conscientious, pleasant and a joy to have in my home. Usually you can't wait to get the people out. They kept me informed of what they were doing, really did a great job of making sure everything was safed off, and when they saw something additional that needed to be taken care of, they did it. I was so impressed and I feel so much safer in my home now. They found several splices that were singed!! They were able to fix problems that others hadn't been able to figure out. Even though the job ended up being much more of a mess and took longer than originally anticipated, Marc did not try to get more money from me. He honored his original price. Marc even call a week or so after the job was done to make sure all was okay and that I was happy. These guys are AMAZING!

The workmen arrived on time and finished the entire job in three hours. They were nice and helpful. I think they did an excellent job. We are planning to do a bigger electrical job redoing our kitchen lights and we plan to use this firm. On a side note, a different socket than one they had worked on broke a week later. I called them and was ready to have them come out again, but Marc told me over the phone how to press a "reset" button that fixed the problem. I think this is definitely a good electrical firm.

Marc gave us an estimate of the work we needed within a few days of calling him. As soon as we were ready, Marc fit us into his schedule very quickly. Marc, Marty, and Josh arrived at 6:45 am to start our project. Marc explained everything that needed to be done to Marty and Josh. Marc had another job to go to, but came back later in the day to make sure everything was going okay. We added a couple of items to the project during the day and Marty and Josh were terrific about it. Due to some recent security problems in our neighborhood, we decided to add the motion detector/security light to the project. Marc purchased the security light and brought it over half-way through the day. Overall, they did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the results. Marty and Josh were very professional, respectful, and worked quickly and efficiently. Marc purchased all of the supplies ahead of time and the job went very smoothly. We would definitely recommend Energy Electric and will absolutely call them for any other electrical work.

Great work. Marc showed up on time, was quickly able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Took extra time to replace some mismatched switches and broken switches so that all were just right. He was quick, efficient, professional and personable.

The bid the job promptly. Performed the job in a timely manner including when the said they would.

Marc and Marty were both very personable. They explained a couple of options available to us and gave us estimates for each. They performed the work quickly and very much to our satisfaction. It was obvious that they a lot of experience with ceiling fan installation and electricity in general. They had to trouble-shoot a couple of problems but quickly came with viable solutions. I was very impressed with their calm, professional demeanor. They even took some extra time to examine another ceiling fan (recently installed by another company), which was giving us a problem with a slight scraping sound. While they had to go to another job, they did tell us to call the fan manufacturer as they were afraid of voiding the fan warranty if they were to open the motor compartment.

Prompt response to my inquiry call. Estimate given over phone based on description. Did not offer Senior discount nor Angie's list discount until asked. Discount was 10%. Estimate was probably at the high end considering the non complicated nature of the work performed. If charged by the hour and materials job should have been somewhat less (2 hours, Info on Angie's list states $70.00 /hr.) Although I agreed to the price the owner asked me beforehand "Does the price sound OK with you". With little experience to determine otherwise, I agreed. In hindsight I would have gotten more detail for the estimate. However, service rep. was punctual and job was performed professionally and cleanly. There was good communication and all aspects of the job were explained. I am satisfied with the results.

After placing the order, I looked at our master box and discovered there were no more slots available. I called Marc to advise him. He came by that afternoon at no charge, looked at the box and called to tell me he could piggy back some solutions that would meet code. On the day of the work, Marc, his brother and two employees showed up on time. Once Marc had the employees briefed, he left and they finished the job to our satisfaction.

Marc returned my phone call the same day, I left a message. He quoted the job over the phone and scheduled an appointment within the week. He called the night before, to confirm the time he would arrive. He showed up on time, completed the job quickly and competently and was very professional. He cleaned up after himself and honored his original quote. He was very pleasant to work with and I would definitely use him again, for any electrical work.

Marc showed up with three additional electricians, one was his twin brother. They completed the work promptly in a very professional manner. They were very professional in dress, manner and workmanship.

They were wonderful and easy to work with. Marc did a thorough job of estimating the job and gave us by far the lowest estimate. The work was done very professionally and cleanly, and everything was explained in detail before it was done. They are very pleasant to work with and I will definitely use them again.

This job went very smoothly. The company gave some suggestions on placement of the lights and even suggested adding another one, and that was the correct move. Their measurements and placement of each light was very good.

I had a very pleasant experience with Energy Electric. They returned my call promptly (& on a Saturday morning!), & thoroughly reviewed our situation on the phone, which saved us both time & money. As it turned out, our electrical problem instead needed to be looked at by a company that specializes in heating & air conditioning systems. Even though it wasn't the type of job Energy Electric worked on, they made sure we knew who to call, & even called a company they knew that worked on heating & a/c systems (& even called to let us know they had left a message for the other company). Overall, a very professional company.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THIS COMPANY. THEY DID MANY EXTRA THINGS FOR ME AND THEY WERE WONDERFUL. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I THINK THAT THEY ARE JUST GREAT!
