 + -1 moreFour plain rectangular doors, total of about 11sq feet of fabric and job took more than two weeks Was caught by surprise with huge cost and no way out: paid whopping $55/sq foot! Make sure you understand what are you getting into before hiring Crown for the job!

Description of Work: Had 6 Ethan Allen Dining Room Chairs redone by this company. It was absolutely the worst quality work I have ever seen. They even supposedly tried to repair the mistakes. I am having to repurchase more fabric and have my chairs redone by another more competent company. they also scuffed up the wood on my chairs which the other company will retouch up for me. I would not recommend this company. They were nice people but are not skilled in the profession of furniture upholstery.

Description of Work: Crown Upholstery recovered a chair and a half, and the accompanying ottoman. It is a family-owned business, and they were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to drop off the pieces so I could get them out of my garage, even though they wouldn't be getting to them for a couple weeks. I was pleased with the final result, but it took at least a month longer than I expected.

 + -1 moreI called to make the appointment, they said they would be able to start in 6-8 weeks. I said oh, and the receptionist spoke to someone and then said they could come get the chair the following day and have it done in 4 weeks. The chair upon return looked great. The material I had chosen has many stripes and they all match perfectly. The company is very customer oriented and willing to work with their customers to provide the best quality service in the best time frame possible.

Description of Work: The plan was to make some fabric covered boxes to hang on our walls as a design. That evolved into tufting one of the boxes and we decided it required a pro. We needed the project done ASAP and Crown was able accomidate us. We provided the fabric and boxes and they did an excellent job covering and tufting. The work was completed on schedule.

 + -1 moreThe job went pretty well. The upholstery job was very good and they had the pieces done when they said they would. During the estimate they said they would 'touch up' the wood part of the furniture with Old English stain polish. It didn't look like that was done, but having used that product myself, sometimes it is hard to tell. Overall I would use them again.
Description of Work: We had two small chairs and a matching footstool to have re-covered. We didn't address the price issue in the evaluation because we didn't really shop around for the service. This business was close to us and we had the pieces in the truck when we stopped to get the estimate. We really didn't want to drive all over the place with the furniture in the back. The price they quoted seemed reasonable, so we had them do the work
