Description of Work: I had purchased 2 hours of electrical work and then paid $58.65 for parts. I had a light on the outside of my garage that was hardwired to a plug in the rafters and I could not turn it off or on - it only worked with a dusk to dawn light fixture. New wiring was installed with a timer that can be turned off and on and adjusts itself automatically for different times of the year. I also had a new light fixture installed in my atrium. I was very pleased with the service and how prompt and friendly the technician was.

Description of Work: They installed bathroom fans, new switches and receptacles, chandelier, and hardwired a new LED lighting strip. They repaired the can lighting that was put in by some bad electrician, and converted it to LED. Everything went smoothly. This is the second time I have used Steve and his crew, and I will use them again without hesitation!

Description of Work: I contracted them under a special Angie's List promotion where I paid in advance for an electricians' time. I had used them in the past and I was quite pleased. This time I was equally pleased although it was a very small deal. I will continue to use them for my electrical problems in the future.

Description of Work: Had to wait quite a while for service, as they are very busy. Sent someone out on a holiday for a couple of hours to get the important things done until they are available again. Electrician sent was awesome. Have used them in the past and, obviously, I called them back.

Description of Work: Removed and installed two new lights. Patch work not so good. Just make sure you take them right to job and don't talk to them because their clock start running at your door.

Description of Work: A fixture in my Dining/Living room had stopped working so I called Steve Cavanee and he came out to assess the situation. He was polite and professional. Said the problem was most likely with the wiring in the attic, and would schedule a crew to come out and take care of the problem. Two guys came out a week or two later, looked at the fixture and determined that the fixture was damaged and needed to be changed. They were very happy they didn't need to go up into the attic! So next day, I went out and bought a nice, inexpensive fixture from Home Depot, and Steve sent out a two man crew to install it. While the guys were here, one of them fixed a damaged kitchen light for me, too. I would use this company, Steve Cavanee Electric, again.

Description of Work: Determine which electrical outlet was bad & blown. |The techs arrived on time, however I was advised that the Deal I purchased for $111.00 for 2 hours of work, really meant, "1" hour of work with 2 techs there,then they made me sign an invoice agreeing that if Anything went Over "One Hour" I would have to pay 84.00/hr for each tech, so 168.00/hr. |They solved the problem, but upon leaving I asked for a receipt/invoice with the date & with what they did, found and recommendations (which they had alot of) |This should be usual & customary for any work or service provided, plus I needed it to submit to the property owner to be able to deduct it from my rent & also for confirmation they were here and for his home owners records. |The tech told me he would write it up and send it when he was back to work (5 days later) |It is now 9/29/14, I have called both Steve on his cell phone & the office 5 Times and they keep making excuses about the receipt."They are too busy, Why do I need one? There is No reason I need on, Just Use the Angie's Deal Coupon as a receipt" etc and Not being polite about my simple and Required request. |I called Steve Yet again today, and he said he was Still too busy with other paperwork and got Huffy with me, when I, Yet again, told him the Owner of the house Wants A Dated Receipt with & for the Services Performed !!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, Sounds like something 'Shady" is going on !

Description of Work: This is a repeated request and answer. This company did an expert & wonderful job. The professionalism was well worth the cost. The work was done on time and every worker was able to communicate with me. I could not have asked for a better company! They worked on the outside lighting and inside light switches. The two guys finished within the time allowed and I was aware of additional cost if the work took longer. Thank you Angie's List for the work you do to bring forward the best companies in town!
