They were wonderful. They were efficient and clean, defintely do A work. He gave me suggestions that I had not thought about and when I decided to use them I had them carry out his idea. I would definitely recommed them.

They got the fron speakers working but not the back. I called to discuss and was told that the back speakers would only work with certain movies????? I have yet to hear the back speakers work.

The box tested OK but whenever you use both outlets, it trips off. We have tried everything but the box is almost worthless. We have one string of Xmas lights and that is all it can handle.

Influx of orders led to a long wait, but he was thorough and clear. A similar problem happened within a few weeks, and a second repair person came and fixed it (additional charge). The company seems professional and fair.

I was very happy with Steve Cavenee Electrical. I had a difficult attic situation which needed to be dealt with and the employee (and I cannot remember his name...but he was great) handled it efficiently and with a very good attitude. He was very pleasant and "smelled good too!!!". I would not hesitate to use him if I ever need another electrical service.

2 guys - very professional, handled everything needed within one hour

We spent a little bit more than the $99 big deal that we purchased. I bought my own fan, and he installed the fan for us. Then, they put some more hosing that they later charged us but did not bill us that day for, and later on, they billed us for that. That day I only paid $99 because I bought the fan already. He was really able to help me figure out what kind of fan I needed because we had the other electrical company, and they brought their fan out and it did not work, but they just reimbursed us the big deal or Angie’s List did. So, he helped me decide what fan that I could use for that space because we had a pipe laying right there, and they did a really great job installing it.

Provider forgot about first appointment and was late for the second. After reviewing the work and providing me with a verbal estimate ( my mistake) said he would have someone out the next week but no one called nor showed up. After me placing another phone call he had to remind him again three weeks later the provider said he hadn't got to the job because he was so busy with his coupon special. When his crew (not him) did show up I had to review the proposed work again because they were not clear on the specifics of the job. They completed the work but were unable to install some of the lights requested. When my wife asked them to do additional work the crew promised to return the following week but never called nor showed again. After approx. a month I received a voice message from his assistant asking when would we like the follow-up work done and asking for my address because she did not have it to forward the invoice. Subsequently received a phone call from the provider who wanted to know when he could return to finish so he could get his bill paid. When I reviewed his history of lack of service and professionalism I informed the provider that I would not be doing further business with him under any circumstances. The provider responded " I GUESS IF WE WERE THAT BAD YOU ARE LUCKY WE DIDN'T KILL SOMEONE". which is either a thinly veiled threat or and incredibly stupid remark: take your pick I have subsequently received a ludicrous bill (guess they did have my address after all) which I will turn over to the lawyers and the Better Business Bureau. Do not ever hire these people. Caveat Emptor

After making an appointment, I left work early to meet the electrician, but apparently, afternoon appointments are subject to cancellation, they do not work past 4:00 pm. Not the service I had expected. The day of the appointment, I kept receiving "excuses", which I should have taken as a sign that this was not going to happen, and sure enough a bigger, probably more profitable, job took priority. Steve called, and didn't even offer to do the job himself. It was a simple job, 2 light switches, and 2 outlets. I will be calling another service provider, hopefully, getting service.

I received a bill for $704.90 for the work that was done. He deducted the $200 for the Big Deal, and expects me to pay the remainder for the pendant lamps that are still not functioning. I made sure to ask him before I let him do the extra work how much it would cost and he told me again that it wouldn't be more than a couple hundred dollars. This is extremely excessive for lamps that cost $99 each.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Steve Cavenee Electric. The service worked out well. They were prompt on their arrival time. The work was completed in the time indicated. The price was accorded. They were courteous and paid attention to detail.

They showed up on time and did the work quickly. The replaced several power outlets and configured some light switches. The issue was with the owner- at least I think it was the owner who came to the house the week before to provide a seperate estimate on installing several ceiling fans and a light in a closet. He spent 45 minutes reviewing all the work and we never heard from him again.

Steve's crew show up on time and completed the 55" LED TV installation in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I purchased the $89 Big Deal coupon. So its good for an hour of 2 men labor. Extra 40 minutes is calculated at fraction of $89 plus cost f surge wall socket and cables used... Total about $250. The TV look great up on the wall.

Steve and his crew are very easy to work with and sincerely want to help you get what you want. Some unforeseen issues came up and they were very good at showing and explaining the problem to me so that I understood it. The job took longer than originally thought but that was due to the extra work involved. I am quite pleased with the work they did.

When Cavenee Electric added an outlet for our entertainment center, I asked Ron, the electrician, if it was possible to add another outlet for our sound system. He said that it was, so I purchased another Big Deal coupon from Angie’s List for Cavenee Electric and we had them add that outlet too. Electricians Shawn and Jesus did the work this time and they, like Ron, did a great job. They were again on time, courteous, and professional.

The owner, Steve, came by to look at the necessary work and scheduled an appointment for Ron, his electrician, to do the job. Ron added the new outlet. But since it was behind a cabinet, it required shielded cable, so Ron rewired the outlet. Steve and Ron were on time, courteous and professional. We're very satisfied with their work.

Steve called and explained that he was having employee problems. He said he'd try to come by himself to see why one of my sockets had stopped working. When he arrived he had only a 3-prong outlet with him and left because we needed a 2-prong switch. Four weeks later one of Steve's employees came by and said the outlet had a problem with the neutral and in order to be fixed they would either have to open up the wall (which they would then replaster) or run a new electrical line outside the house (encased in a metal tube). I was asked about a wall switch and replied that I never used it and didn't know what it was for. The employee opened up the box and poked around at the wiring and pointed out that a portion of the wiring was starting to come through the plastic. I didn't have them make the suggested repair and said I needed other opinions before deciding what to do. Bright Electric came out and fixed the problem right away. It was in the wiring of the wall switch.

The owner came out to give me an estimate and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and gave me information needed to make the best decisions. In addition, he gave me quotes on work I may want done in the future. The electricians that came to do the work were also very professional. They arrived on time and completed all the work in a timely manner. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience.

Everything went great, and my yard looks fantastic. I am very happy with the results.

I recieved an email from Angie's List advertising "Panel Labelling - $100" from Cavenee Electric. I a main panel and 4 sub panels and even though there were no disclaimers in the ad to size of property or number of panels, I called Steve (the owner) for an estimate. He was reasonable in his pricing even though it was not exactly as advertised. Two of his workers came out and worked for 4 hours to label and map all of my circuit breakers.

They came out quickly; were on time, did the work well and fast. I was very happy with the service!! Great job!!

They were wonderful. They installed lighting. They fixed everything and tidied it up fairly quickly. They also installed two additional outlets. They were on time. They gave me great recommendations for future jobs. I can’t say anything bad about them. Friendly staff. The work was better than they said. Absolute perfection.

Fine- from what i can recall.

The work turned out very well! The price quoted was what we paid. He was on time, punctual, and provided the bid when he said that he would. He was professional and we were happy with his work!
