His electricians, Tim and Tom arrived on time. They were very professional, friendly and they were able to work skillfully around the dog, the cat and my 21 month old grandson. They protected the walls, furniture and flooring while doing the work and thoroughly cleaned up when they finished. I couldn't be more delighted. The finished product is amazing and I would definitely hire this company for any electrical work in the future.

He gave me a four hour window, and I took off work and waited. One hour after the cutoff time, I called Steve to find out what was going on and he didn't seem to remember our appointment. He finally called back and told me a technician would be there in about 30 minutes. I had to go to work, but left my 19-year-old son there. When I came home that evening, there was no wall switch, but instead, an ugly-looking fabric type cord. Not what I expected at all.

Our experience with Steve Cavenee was excellent, we will use them again if we have any additional electrical work we need done. Steve came on time to give us an estimate. When we scheduled the work, workers arrived promptly and were able to complete the job in less time than originally quoted. When we moved into our newly renovated house, we immediately realized that we did not have the proper hook-up for our electric dryer in the garage (our fault, not our GC who did the renovation). The estimate we received from Steve when he first came out was much lower than other estimates (including from our GC who did the renovation in the first place). During the work, they discovered that our brand new electrical panel was not wired with a future (as code requires), so they had to run the wiring through our guest room and break a hole in the wall. They then repaired the drywall, and even textured the wall to match. Again, all of this unexpected work was done in less time than originally quoted when we thought this job would be much easier.

They did excellent work in a very timely matter and cleaned everything up when they were done. Would definitely use them again for electrical work I may need.

The part that surprised me was it took over 2 months before we got an invoice from the company for the additional services. Who's running their office billing system???

Installed a bathroom exhaust fan ( purchased and obtained by customer) and changed the ballast in a bathroom light as well as fluorescent light bulbs.

my call was promptly returned, but steve stated that he was working on a job out of state, and could not do the job in the time frame I wanted. i would definitely call him for any future work.

Steve Cavenee Electric installed two new electrical outlets, two automatic timer switches and one new outdoor flood light. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Flood light required a small fish hole which was patched by the crew. Per the agreement the crew was responsible for patching and we would be responsible for painting. We will certainly use Steve for future projects.

Fine, it just wasn't what I needed.

Efficient and fair. Steve is very professional and will always respond (just be patient because he gets busy). I would use his services again. He gave me a very professional and unbiased opinion of what he recommends as the best way to address my needs.

It went well. I had some questions on the bill and he was very easy to work with to resolve my issues. Because I work long hours it was hard to find time to get together but he did not pay me to pay the disputed amount.

Bought Steve's services on a Angie's List Coupon. His office called right away to determine what the problem was. Then Steve and I played Phone tag for several days. Since he didn't have other jobs in my area he was reluctant to set an appointment for a crew, so we kept calling back and forth for a couple of weeks. Finally he personally came by and fixed the problem in 5 minutes.

Scheduled the service based on a "big deal" on AL. Scheduling went great, came out very quickly, arrived right on time. The 2 man team split up, one installing the fan in our extra bedroom, the other repairing the existing fan in my son's bedroom. The man repairing the fan, actually thought outside of the box and had a great idea to just rewire the existing remote instead of doing a full new remote install which was great. The fan was fixed, the other one installed and all went fine. Of note, there was a bit of a discrepancy with the billing that I was provided. However, Steve called me himself and we sorted it all out promptly. He was very accommodating and courteous. I think that necessitates mentioning as many service providers would not have reacted so well to a customer pointing out a conflict on the bill. I would definitely use them in the future for other work.

The guy charges by the hour, but by the time he explains that, 1/2 hour is gone. He also showed up later than scheduled. When I called, he said they were tied up with another customer. I had waited for them. I would not use him again.

He performed the assigned duties,

Purchased 9-11. First available 9-25. they called to cancel 9-25am. Rescheduled for 10-2 11a to 1p window. When discussed with Steve he asked if I'd like them to call b4 they came. I declined stating "i'll assume they'll be here between 11 and 1." Received call from outside area code 10-2 at 9:39a which I did not pick up. It was their tech, left no msg. No show between 11 and 1. Not comfortable with a 'third time's a charm' scenario.

The electrician did a quick and neat job.

It went fine. They put up 2 more fixtures. Work was good. Invoiced me and didn't have to pay right then.

The job was very simple - he attached new cable (supplied by me) to the old cable and pulled it through. No problems. They postponed the appointment several times probably because it was not a full price project.

Owner had to reschedule with me a couple of times. Was not punctual. Did not call me to let me know his technicians would be 3 hours late. His technician was very polite, professional, knowledgable, and efficient. I was very pleased with the service, after it was completed.

Cavenee Electric did an outstanding job, they were quick, efficient and their work is top quality. The company is very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

They did excellent. I actually had another electrical company out and they told me that I would need an all new fan and light fixture, but they were wrong. I purchased the new fan and when the tech from Steve Cavanee came out he let me know all I needed was a new remote control, not a fan, much cheaper! The technician replaced the remote control for a fan and did other miscellaneous work for me. They were able to reset my motion lights outside also. They were very fair and knowledgeable. I will be having them back for more work. They also solved the problem with a sparking electrical outlet.

We’re still working out the bill. Some of the stuff was supposed to go to the owner and the rest of it goes to me. I thought they were fine. The guys were very careful in putting everything in. They protected the floor. I think they took a little longer getting the invoice to me. They sent one big bill to the management company so I‘m having to recalculate all that.
