I was a little not as happy as I could have been. They came and they had to come back. They didn't come a week or so. They were busy. They had repaired the light for me and left. The light bulb didn't work. They changed the light bulb and I kind of felt like it should have worked the first time they left. My job wasn't big. I had to wait for him to have another job in the area but he still charged me a travel fee. The other stuff was okay.

I purchased the service on Wednesday, 11/25/15. I called Steve that same day and he scheduled the install on Tuesday, 12/1/15, at 8am. I called on Monday and left a message to re-confirm the Tuesday morning appointment, but didn't hear back. When no one had shown up by 9:30am, I called him to check the status of the service call. He let me know that an electrician should have already arrived. He was unable to contact his employee that should have already been here. He arranged to have another electrician over at 12pm. The electrician showed up and installed the outdoor electrical box as agreed. The new box is working well. Thanks for doing good work and getting the missed appointment covered!

He was there to fix a doorbell but he didn't have the style needed on his truck; he installed the one he had and had to patch the stucco. It didn't look good at all.

I contacted Steve who was professional and responsive. He was able to send one of his technicians to the house within a short period of time to troubleshoot an issue we had with a pool light. The home is new to us and we were unfamiliar with all the little kinks to the home. It turned out to be nothing more than a well hidden GFI switch. More than anything we appreciated the prompt response to our issue and ability to communicate with him. Thank you Steve.

Steve's crew showed up promptly in the time window and began to work soon after arrival. Since I was suffering from severe allergies and didn't want to track any allergens in the house (I have carpeting), they had no problem wearing disposable covers over their shoes the entire time they were there. Respectful, courteous and informative, they walked me through their plan for each project and provided great advice when I needed help figuring out the exact location of the lights (they were also good about coming to me with updates). The entire project started took no more than six hours, which I thought was very reasonable. In the end, they did a wonderful job and I love that I can now read on my sofa in the living room! The bathroom exhaust fans function perfectly and it's so nice to have a doorbell chime after 7 years. I highly recommend Steve for any electrical work you need!

Steve is best electrician we have ever hired. He is experienced, knowledgeable, honest, and have done everything professionally. We had a general contractor and have done part of electrical installation and then hired Steve to do some extra. Steve pointed out several places that is not correctly done by the previous electrician, and we noticed the difference between the previous work and Steve's work. We recommended Steve to one friend and Steve did great job at zoning the recessed lights. He has his insights in electrical jobs and the result is convenient, easy to use and energy efficient. We are really regret that we didn't have Steve from the beginning. Highly recommend!

We had an appointment between 1-2 on September 9, 2015. I stayed home from work (at great cost) to meet him. He never showed and he did not call on that day. He called the next day admitting that he blew the appointment and wanted another chance, which I am not giving him.

quoted 1900 said that he could get everything done in the same day 2 guys came and worked for 1 hour then they left, after it was promised to be done in one day. Only one and a half light was done. He then says he can come out in 2 days then he says the guys can come for another hour and then he would have to come back a week later. I went ahead and hired someone else to finish what he did not finish, then he sent a bill for a price higher then the one quoted.

I needed an electrical outlet added above the kitchen counter before tiling the backsplash. There was an outlet underneath the cabinets that didn't work. After correcting the previous wiring problem, they added an outlet above the counter. The job took just over one hour.

They worked with me over time to get some loose ends left by other contractors (Rite Time Heating and AIR) fixed up and rewire some things that had been done incorrectly before. They honored the service credit and the discount provided and were able to get all 3 items cleared up. Those were: rewiring a celling light and fan combination that was not correct, moved a j-box that was poorly installed by others and finally were able to install and hard wire a rather large ceiling light that needed to be on a 3 way switch. Although they had to make a few visits they were able to work with me on the times and the billing so as not to complicate my schedule or effort. I think they were very professional, well prepared and able to explain the process in lay terms.

Excellent work, Steve and his guys do great work and know what they are doing.

Went well, they were on time and finished very quickly. no surprise charges, happy with transaction would use again.

It took a little time to get started. The job once started was excellent. Their was a problem because our electrical wiring was aluminum . They had to make a connection between the copper wiring of the circuit breaker panel and the aluminum wiring in our home. This was an added expense but was necessary. We had a problem with the city of Villa Park Inspector who only worked three days a week . It caused a delay in getting the job done. .

Very professional team. They were responsive and fixed the problems on the first try.

I wanted matching coach lights on both sides of the garage door, but only had electricity on one side of the door. They ran the wires as per code from the existing light to the other side of the garage door. They opened a hole in the stucco for mounting and hung the new light fixture. The previously established electrical work was not to code, so they fixed that as well. Two guys were done in a hour. They were efficient and professional. Very happy with their work.

They came out & hung a ceiling fan for me in my living room, where there had never been one. Had to get into the attic to make the hole & hook up the electricity. They did a great job, were personable and friendly and cleaned up nicely. I would recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I've had them out twice. With the problem of the sparking outlet, he did that quickly and free of charge.

The gentleman that came out was named Ryan. He was excellent, saved us money and did a great job. He finished the job in under two hours and did not attempt to probe us for additional fees, he was very efficient and informative. We had several items on our list around the house and he went through them non-stop from the time he walked in. We were very pleased with his services.

Everything went well. There was a delay in my scheduled appointment time, but they were very respectful in rescheduling by calling several times. They were able to solve the issue and completed the work under the 2 hour time frame I had purchased through their Big Deal.

Setting up the appointment required some back and forth as he admittedly dropped off on communication. I returned his calls and emails promptly but he at one point became unresponsive. Then, he got oddly defensive and almost ornery when I bought his Angie's List coupon for a bathroom fan installation and emailed him to confirm I could use. He originally quote me a price that was around $400, saying it would depend on labor hours worked, and that the services that came as part of the coupon were not comparable. Then, he called back to apologize as he thought I bought another coupon. I was thoroughly confused but either way, it was a bit unprofessional. Once we cleared the air on that matter, we were trying to schedule the job and he had some issue with us wanting an early afternoon appointment. Said his guys didn't want to hit traffic so it would have to be earlier. We were left uncertain whether they could come out that day but Steve ended up sending 2 of his guys, who happened to be on the way back from another job), and they ultimately did a good job. The process was drawn out and he gets a little moody. Overall, it was a job well done.

I really like the actual people. They were very professional and they knew what they were doing.

I contracted them under a special Angie's List promotion where I paid in advance for an electricians' time. I had used them in the past and I was quite pleased. This time I was equally pleased although it was a very small deal. I will continue to use them for my electrical problems in the future.
