Steve and his crew were extremely professional, did high-quality work that looks great and works as expected.

Great job, but I would have liked an estimate before starting.

It took four man hours (two men, two hours). They had to fish the walls to bring the power from a nearby wall outlet. They made some holes in the wall (of course). After the outlet was installed, they patched the drywall and re-textured the surface so it was ready for painting. One of the drywall patches was very noticeable but Steve sent someone right away to re-do the it .

I left a message for him to return my call. After 4 days I called again. He said he was too busy to talk to me and asked me to text him to remind him to call me. I did so, even after thinking how rude that was of him to ask, and he never called me back until I requested a refund from Angie's List. A week later, Insaw his advertisement come across my offers again, but with a $20 reduction on his service fee. I'm sure he's very nice, but if you're too busy to return calls, even after you ask the client to remind you to call them, you probably shouldn't advertise for business.

Excellent. Guys showed up on time and got to work right away. I had the wrong bracket to hang the tv but they had one on the truck that worked perfectly. Enjoyed working with them and will definitely call them again.

Tech by the name of Angel came out and did a wonderful job. Very professional, polite and courteous. Wore booties each and every time he came into the house. The owner (Steve) called me just prior to his arrival. Highly reccomened and will use again. My only comment is immediately after purchasing the deal for $149.00 I received another offer from Angies List from the same provider for the same job for $129.00? Still waiting for a response from Angies List.

They were a little late but did a good job and put in the outlet and left the wall ready to paint. Very informative and pleasant.

It was fantastic. I was really impressed. It was great. There was an additional charge of $77 for the switches which was fair. They kept their bargain and I was very impressed with that. They were out here within 3 or 4 days. It was impressive. What stood out to me was the clarity of communication and the ability to get the job done efficiently. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Very well. Steve personally came by for original estimate. His crew of two journeyman came to do the work. What I liked was the efficiency of the team. They work by the hour and these guys did not waste any time. Therefore, the actual charges were less than original estimate. Overall, our experience was very positive.

Great! When Steve came out, he spent a lot of time listening to our ideas about adding more lighting and where, and then he came up with many great suggestions - including ambience uplighting, hidden under-the-kitchen-cabinet downlighting to light up countertops, plus updated location of switches that were difficult to reach by installing a wireless switch placed where they are intuitive. Steve's crew did great - they were thoughtful, worked carefully and quietly, and left the work site clean after the job was completed. When there was a small issue, or I wanted to make a minor change, Steve sent out one of his crew to resolve it right away. Recently, I called Steve again, to request help with moving a refrigerator outlet (our new refrigerator cord was too short to reach, and had to use an extension cord), he sent someone out and didn't even charge us to fix it. That was really nice.

Checked the entire electrical distribution system and found the faulty outlet. Replaced the outlet.

I was interested in working with Steve as he has positive reviews on Angie's list but I have yet to hear back! I contacted him two weeks ago. This was also the case after I met with him. He took a week or so to get me a proposal, and when I ok'd the cost, he took longer to get back to me. When I heard back, I had almost forgotten that I asked him to do the work as I had written him off. Now that we're in discussions again, I have yet to hear back. If you're interested in getting someone to your house in the immediate future, I would look elsewhere. Lesson learned.

The project went extremely well. We were only without power in the house for one work day, even though the project, by prior agreement, stretched considerably longer than that. These guys are true professionals. They showed up when they said they would, and did the work they said they would do. Their electrical work is superb. In the one case where there was an issue, they pro-actively took responsibility and made the necessary correction free of charge. It was very easy to stay in communication with them before and after they were at the house. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Everything went well. Steve's crew showed up on the agreed upon morning. One easily installed the dimmer switch while the other began work on the attic fan. They were polite, professional, and efficient, finishing the job in less than the two hours that they estimated. Steve also showed up at the end of the job to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. I could tell they all had pride of workmanship, which is not that common these days.

I bought a service voucher through Angies List for electrical work and paid for it at that time. I was then given the option of picking three 'possible' dates and times for that service to be performed. I picked Friday the seventh, Monday the tenth and Tuesday the eleventh mornings. I then called Steve Cavenee Electric, got a machine and left a message requesting he call me so I could get a confirmation on at least one day, so I do not have to wait around for as much as three days for him to show up. I did not receive a return call. On Monday I called again and got the machine and left another message, which was ignored and of course he did not show up on Tuesday either. I called again Wednesday trying to at least confirm that appointment, given it was the last and left another message that was ignored. He did not show up for the Wednesday appointment either and of course when I called late in the afternoon I got the same machine.

Two electricians came out and worked very efficiently. I used a $179.00 coupon for labor. They stayed exactly for the hour. They moved the wall switch from one wall to another. Also they hung a new very efficient and nice looking florescent light fixture. (It looks nothing like the old florescent lights.) They also helped me and took down some old florescent ballasts we had . Very Happy with their service. (the additional fee was of course for parts)

It took over two weeks to get an appointment. He was scheduled to come at 8 am. I got a call that said he was behind on a job that started at 3:30 am and he would call to update me as to when he would show up. I never got a call and he never showed up for his appointment.

I purchased a new home build in 1969 that had aluminum wiring. My number one goal was to make sure my family was safe. I got 3 quotes, Steve Cavenee was the only one who took the time to sit down with me personally and he explained in detail how I could still safely use the aluminum wiring. My home is 2100 sq. ft, so instead of tearing out the aluminum he explained that we could make my home safe with alumi-cons and arc fault breakers. Steve’s right hand electrician is named Tom. This electrician leaves no stone unturned and is an expert troubleshooter. Tom is a very trustworthy and he takes pride in what he does. When the electricians were finished each day they always picked up after themselves and left my home clean which I really appreciated. Steve gets the job done at a fair price. It’s been 6 months and I haven’t had any problems. I’m glad I went with him. I would use him again and recommend him to my friends.

Steve was quick to schedule a service date. He was up front with his cost and the time it generally takes to complete the work I needed. The crew that was scheduled to complete my work was on time, very friendly, skilled and very considerate of my home. All of my questions and concerns were addressed with knowledge, more importantly they did not make me feel as if I was bothering them. All of the items that were needed to complete everything was on their truck which provided a faster service, keeping the hourly cost to a minimum. A small charge for the things i needed was incurred.The crew cleaned up any debris or dust that occurred during the service call. They will be returning to install a special awning switch that had to be specially ordered. I will call Steve with any other electrical needs that I may have.

Great. Angel arrived on time and was professional and completed the install of both light fixtures in less than one hour. Highly recommend and happy with my level of service. However, I forgot to ask for the free electrical panel tune up offered to Angies List members :-( Scheduling was a bit of a pain but overall I am happy with the work completed.
