It was a brand new, no-damage, high-end dishwasher for $588. I have used them for purchasing appliances and also for repair work. They will repair other than Sears products. So you can just call them for service and they'll come out and fix your appliances. I have always found them to be reliable. It takes them a while to get to you. They're usually on time.

We replaced our old Maytag. We had bought the Maytag in 1977; that tells you how good the Maytag was. We have quite a few Sears here. They have an auto center there also. My experience was very good. What we do is if we are going to buy an appliance, we go through a report and we read and from there we know what we want to buy. We went directly into the store and said this is clothes washer that we want. There was no need to show us around. The approximate cost was $600. We got a discount because it is one of those special energy efficient ones, a big discount from the water company and a discount from the gas company, and the store had a 20 percent discount. I thought soon they are going to pay us to take it. The sales people were friendly and courteous. I will rate them highly. I would go back to Sears for another appliance.
