+ -1 moreMy PC had been turning off by itself for a few weeks and I had tried doing things to correct it based on messages from MicroSoft. Finally, it turned off and would not come back on. I called NCS and spoke to the owner Neil Storer, who said the collection of dust in the computer probably caused it to overheat and I should try vacuuming and blowing out the dust by removing the cover and using a hairdryer. It was VERY dusty inside, but that didn't cause the PC to come back on. So, I took the computer to Neil on Tustin Street near the 22 Freeway. His workplace is very jumbled, but when I arrived there just before 5 pm, he offered to check out the PC immediately and found the power box was "cooked". He then asked where I lived and asked if he could replace the power box later and then even offered to drop it off at my house. Three hours later he brought the repaired PC to my house, and only charged $50 for everything. Quite a deal.
Description of Work: Performed diagnosis on PC computer that would not turn on. Discovered the power box had failed and replaced it.

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY IS VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY ARE THOROUGH IN THEIR REPAIR, AND THEY ALWAYS MAKE SURE THEY BACK UP THE HARD DRIVE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REPAIR/RESTORE THE COMPUTER.
