We needed to replace old insulation in the attic that had at one time had rodents living in it. Rodent exterminator certified that attic was rodent free and a cleanup company removed existing insulation and rodent poop. Everguard installed blown-in insulation in about an hour after the attic was clean. They were easy to schedule, on time, confirmed their work the day before and telephoned about an hour before they arrived. They were clean, left no trace of the install on the brand new wall to wall carpet which their hose had crossed. They gave us a gas company form and receipt so we could get an energy-savings rebate. I believe my provider that day was Roy. He was great! Prompt, friendly, and he clearly explained the process of insulation, as well as the materials used. My husband and I sense a difference in our home's temperature and are pleased. We would definitely use Everguard again! Oh, and Roy explained how to do the rebate through the Gas Company. Excellent service and price. Crew was very knowledgable and proficient. Stucco patches dried in only a few hours. They also cleaned up and hosed everything off. You would never have known they were there. The house is much less drafty and warm during our cool nights and stays much cooler inside during our warm days. The insulation product has also provided some much needed sound proofing from noisy neighbors. Thank you!

I recently moved into a house built in 1963. Our attic had almost no insulation in it. I called Steve from Everguard after reading reviews on Angie's List and he was great. He returned my call immediately, explained their products and services, and gave me an estimate for the job along with an estimate of the gas company rebate and federal tax credit. I received a call confirming my appointment the afternoon prior and on the day of. The two employees who came to my house were courteous, quick, and extremely professional. The whole project took them an hour from the time they arrived to the time they left. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I may even hire them to come back and insulate my walls as well.

Incredibly professional team. Steve called me back immediately and they worked me into their schedule as soon as they could. The guys were so nice, my house had some issues in the back that was taking them twice as long to drill through, but they came back after the weekend to finish things up. The price they quoted me when down as I was off on the square footage. They did not charge me for having to come back a 2nd day. The patch work was incredible and after touch up painting you can't even tell the house had holes. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for insulation. They checked my attic and it was insulated and they said it was good, they also gave me tips on how to insulate in the crawl space in the future if I decide to do that.

Roy and Jonathan did a super job putting new insulation on top of my 50 year old insulation. We just recently bought a flipped home and the attic insulation was not updated. New can lights were installed and the existing installation was pushed the side of the cans meaning hot/cold air in/out. Roy assessed the attic and calmed my wife's fear about the state of the attic and how much better it will be.....just this was worth the money! You all know the deal with over anxious wife's...Very professional and conscious of any type of dirt being tracked in/out of home. Only small item I'd add is the recommendation to place plastic sheeting down (similar to what movers use) wherever they lay the installation hoses. Great team, great price and hopefully lower utility bills!

He explained the type of insulation that would be used and gave me a time for the service. Everything went like clockwork - his guys arrived on time, did the work, left everything clean and neat. Called and spoke with Steve at 9am in the morning, scheduled the job for 11:30, THE SAME DAY, his crew called 30 minutes before they arrived, exactly when they said they would. Very professional, clean and fast. They were in and out in 1 hour. So I left work at 11 and was back by 1. Couldn't be better.

All the quotes were done through emails so I was a bit skeptical. But they showed up on time and communicated when they were on the way. They patched up the holes and everything went well. I noted to have Steve contact me back at a later date for the attic and he did follow up like requested.

I had been looking into the different types of insulation for my attic. I was thinking about doing it myself, but my entrance into the attic is hard to reach and small. I began to call around and gather information when my daughter told me about Angie's List. She said it was pretty reliable. I called Everguard Insulation from the List among others. They do the "blow in" celuloise type of insulation. I was impressed. They explained very precisely what they would be doing and gave me a quote over the phone, based on my estimated square footage. It sounded very reasonable and I set up an appointment. They were here exactly at the appointed time. I was concerned about the entrance to the attic. It was no problem. First they measured the exact square footage of the attic they would be insulating. This was less than I had estimated and reduced my price. They adjusted and fixed gaps in my current insulation which opened vent holes that had previously been covered. Then, they began spraying the insulation. They finished in less than 2 hours, start to finish. When they presented me with the bill, they carefully explained the lifetime guarantee and told me to make sure I put the guarantee with my permanent paperwork. They then explained how to obtain my rebates from the Federal Government and the Gas Company. When they left, you would never have known I had just had insulation sprayed in my entire attic. This was the least stressful and the most enjoyable experience I have ever had from a home inprovement company and I would highly recommend them!

I would consider using this company again if they change they way they install. The problem is fixable.

I called and asked for a quote - they had the best price and were available on a saturday to do the work. They also explained the rebates online from the gas company and information about write offs on income tax. There was a little confusion on the arrival time but the owner called and apologized and luckily it all worked out. When they arrived they explained everything, put the estimate in writing, asked a lot of questions about the home and pot lights in the ceiling. When all was agreed upon they started the job. They were quick and clean. Showed me what they did when it was done. Very easy good experience and I have noticed a huge difference in the temperature of my home. The tech noticed a heating vent to the master bedroom was disconnected and fixed it for me for free. I would definitely recommend them to others and I already have.

A 1000 sq ft home on a raised foundation, built in 1943. Attic had been previously insulated (blown in) 20 years earlier and was quite packed down and showed the traffic of AC unit. replacement. We got a quote on the phone based on our approximate sqft. of home and scheduled work 2 days later It was raining at 8 am when they arrived on time and spread plastic sheeting in stocking feet all the way to the crawl space entrance Process took less than 2 hours, with little mess.(light vacuum) I found out later that night the my kitchen hood / fan had a hole in duct in the attic crawl space. I had insulation in my hood. I removed filters in hood and vacuumed. have had no further problems. We have noticed the difference on colder days, that our heater comes on much less. Next project for Everguard is to insulate our existing exterior walls

I am very pleased with the service provided by Everguard. They provide a great product and I have noticed a huge difference in my house since the insulation has been placed. They are very helpful in providing info to get a rebate with the gas company. I just received my rebate check yesterday.

E-mailed Steve through Angie's List. He e-mailed me back quickly and warned me that sometimes it was hard for him to get e-mail info back and forth from Angie's List. Gave me a quote over the phone. We scheduled service for the next day - super easy. As I said above, technicians were great the whole time and didn't leave until they knew the house was clean and I had all the info I needed.
