Both times we have used Buddy's were excellent. Great selection, the best prices we found after extensive shopping, and a courteous, well informed staff. The flooring was available immediately, which was a plus. The first flooring we purchased was over a year ago and despite lots of foot traffic and a 110 pound dog running on it constantly there is not a scratch on it. Well pleased with service and quality - would not go anywhere else.

I am a general contractor. I went to the store to get the flooring for a customers house and have them install it. The manager came to the house to measure it. I paid for the materials and put half down deposit for the install. The installers showed up to install. When they had about an hour left they called to get the final payment for the install. I was out of town (this was on a Sat) I told them I was out of town untill Monday and would bring in payment first thing Monday. They got mad and walked off the job. DID NOT FINISH! I came back Monday and went to the house to check what was left, I found the upstairs not done the stairs not fininshed and to top it off they did not remove the base boards, they just laid the flooring up to and along side of them (???) To top it off the flooring was install crooked. When a laser was put down the main hall from front to back the flooring was 4inches off to the right. I contacted manager and said I would not pay until this was corrected and finished. The manager called the owner who after a week met me at the job site and refused to do any more work untill the the balance was paid. I informed him that this was illegal and against contractor law. HE WALKED OFF THE PROPERTY. After Three weeks of arguing with the owner I finally had to hire another company to finish the job. Buddy's was also at that time contracting with out a valid contractors license as I found out later. My advice, STAY AWAY from this company!!! They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!

After deciding on bamboo hardwood floors, we shopped around and found Buddy's after recommendation from a friend. Buddy's had the same product that Lowes carried, but a better price. Their store manager, Andrea was always courteous and understood our needs. We ended up purchasing our hardwood from them, but used our own installers (from our general contractor).
