May 2021- Inspections are a problem for this company, they call for them when they have done no work because the communication between the project manager and the expediter is absurd. My city inspector has been here on many occasions when they had not done anything to inspect. He would just show up because the expediter called him, with nothing to inspect because the project manager didn't tell her the work had not been done.... Meeting the inspector will be 100% your responsibility if you pick this company, the project manager does not show up for them. So hopefully you work at. home too so that you can be there when they randomly show up for no reason. This happened on at least 4 occasions. The project manager Mike, makes appointments and does not show up. The quality of the work is questionable as well. They broke a pipe that they "patched", I am not confident it will hold and that I won't be replacing it at some point. While I love the color I picked for the bottom of the pool, it is not evenly applied. The hot tub looks awful unless it is running so you cant see the bottom. The middle of the pool has weird striations in the color. The acid wash was applied with an "alternative method" because they did not show up as scheduled to do it so is therefore uneven. The brick coping is covered in spots of the color they put on the bottom of the pool and the tile has gaps/cracks in the grout. The expediter Patty is unprofessional and rude. She cannot follow through on a single thing she says she will do. I have a pool that I can't get through final inspection because blue fountain pools can't seem to get it organized to run a simple gas line pressure test which the city required. My pool has been "done" for months but I cannot upgrade my gas meter until the final inspection is done. Without the upgrade, I can't use the master bathroom shower as the gas pressure in the house is now not strong enough to run the water heater... I have been asking them to handle this for 5 months now and despite being contractually obligated to provide a permitted pool, they have not done so. The worst part about this company is that they do not provide anywhere for their subs or employees to use the bathroom when they are here all day. You can imagine what employees do when they don't have access to a toilet. The grossest thing I have ever had to deal with... Do yourself a huge favor and hire any other pool company....Blue fountain pools is on the grift.

Not bad at 1st ...but... things quickly fell apart! I was at the end of the project the electrician came hooked everything up and left the light in its packaging hanging in the pool and left .The final plaster was next ..they showed up at 6:00 am unannounced!!! Started out by rencing out their buckets that have had acid in them all over my yard!! I have small dogs !! WOW !! they said that they were using acid and to "keep your pets inside its deadly after they' have already done so.. They finished up and left (always leaving large messes for us to be cleaned up) the next day we go out and check out the plaster job and notice that there are now what looks to be acid stains on my new concrete pool decking !! I call back blue fountain pool and they proceed to tell me that the stains were coming from my neighbors house wasn't from anything we used and "we don't use acid "LIARS so they send every tom , dick and harry out to deny their liability ...Oh ya but there's still one thing the owner "frank"Farhad Farhadian has never called me or showed up at my house to even look at the job only send rats in to do his job and wont confront the home owner with a problem....So they proceed to tell me to file a complaint with the Contractors board WOW!!! They do not care not even their contractors license !! They don't take responsibility for any problems that arise!! DO NOT USE BLUE FOUNTAIN POOLS AND SPAS save yourself the stomach and the headache

Blue Fountain subcontracts work, recommending substandard contractors and then taking no responsibility for unperformed and/or inferior work. The guys who installed our coping tiles left us with two that were cracked. It took months to get them back to replace them. James at Designer Concrete left us with cracked concrete that was supposed to be stained and sealed, but never was. He refused to return phone calls and Blue Fountain also failed to return calls about the fact that their recommended subcontractor wasn't completing the job he'd been hired to do. In the end, we had to contract someone else to complete the work. Altogether, it took nearly a year, plenty of aggravation and expense, and dozens of unanswered phone calls to get the work done.

They were very good, very timely, and very quick. From start to finish, they got the whole thing done in four and a half weeks. They were comparable but slightly lower than some competitors bids, and they did a great job! The pool is beautiful!

Well, with the initial quote it was great. There were lots of promises made! Unfortunately, we did not get those promises in writing. The pool salesman (Brian) was awesome, but when it came to our complaints or questions, they were ignored or brushed aside (by Brian and the general manager, Don) There was no communication! The workers employed by Blue Fountain would just show up at any time and start the work although we requested a phone call when they were going to be here and what they were going to do. When we requested more communication from Don (the manager) he did come to the house and explained that they couldn't call every homeowner and say they were scheduled. We explained that we didn't expect to give them permission, we just wanted a headsup on when they would be here and what time. Don said that if they had to call every homeowner and schedule that it would cause a problem on Blue Fountain's side in that if they didn't get an answer from the homeowner they would have to reschedule someone else in their place and it would cost Blue Fountain money. As far as the work was concerned they were adequate although we were required to check the city inspectors signoffs and notify Blue Fountain. We found that to be a little bit of an inconvenience. How are we supposed to know if the work done was adequate and signed off by the inspector? Shouldn't Blue Fountain be checking the sheet they had attached to the wall for the inspector? There is the bigger issue of financing that caused a month and a half delay (they have a company to call which is Paramount). We did call them and were steered to Compass Bank in Riverside) What a nightmare that was! We sent in our last 2 years tax returns and W-2's and then were approved a month later only to find out when we went in to sign the papers (the representative from Compass (Blanca) was supposed to come to our house but her car broke down?!) that they wanted us to sign a ck over to Blue Fountain and then Blanca was going to go to the owner of Blue Fountain, give him an endorsed ck and then wanted the owner of Blue Fountain to give a ck to her (for us)!!!!!! How crazy is that to give a contractor the full amount of the ck before the work is done? The problem with that is that we were willing to put our house on the line for $50,000 and Compass Bank wasn't competent enough to carry out that transaction. Why would anyone put their house up for collateral and give the contractor money in advance? Compass Bank just didn't get the problem we had with that! Horrible!!!!!

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS NOT TOO BAD. MOST OF OUR PROBLEMS WERE WITH THE SUBCONTRACTING. THEY WERE USUALLY LATE OR DIDN'T SHOW UP WHEN SCHEDULED. BLUE FOUNTAIN DID THEIR BEST TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. THE ONE PROBLEM WE ARE STILL DEALING WITH IS GETTING BLUE FOUNTAIN TO FIX RECURRING PROBLEMS WITH POOL AND JACUZZI. AFTER TALKING WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD POOLS INSTALLED, WE STILL HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN MOST.
