+ -1 moreMy experience with her was horrible. She took moldy yard sale items and brought them into my home, and accessorize with them. Then she ended up buying some items and I wanted to return everything. And she wouldn't return it. She said that if I did, that she would have to charge me even more than what all of the items were to return it. She used her credit card, so I ended up debating that I couldn't get credit for it back. She was a complete fraud. It wasn't good at all. I've used interior designers before and had such good experiences. With her it was horrible. I would just never recommend her at all. I got overcharged for yucky stuff. The plastic flowers that she put in my house, you get at the Dollar Store. And honestly I think she did go to yard sales and bought moldy plant pots. She was responsive until the very end and then when I went to ask her a refund or to take things back, her response was terrible. It was anger.

+ -1 moreIn the end I paid for stuff I threw away, literally it was that kind of junk. Some went to goodwill. For me it was a very expensive lesson. I hope you don't do the same.
Description of Work: When I first met Carol I had her come to my home for an estimate. She gave me her business card and referral letters from previous clients. All were dated around 2000. Her bio says she started in 1972 so I thought WOW she must be good. Wrong! At first things seemed fine, I purchased everything she suggested. As time went along I started seeing that the dining table, chairs, living room furniture were all not coming together at all. The last day she brought a car load of mostly used five and dime items for accents. I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't have sold the stuff in a yard sale. It was truly someone's trash I think. When I knew I was seriously on the wrong path with this woman I desperately tried to return everything I could. I called to return some bedding, which was new, but she had the receipts and refused to turn all the receipts over. The company wouldn't let me return the bedding unless I was ok with them crediting her card, not mine, since she used her card to make the purchases. Her only response was I was going to have to keep everything since it would cost too much in her time (charging me more in fees) to return anything. Her suggestion. Keep it.
