5-star for this company and technician! Technician was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, but friendly.

It was fine. Nothing outstanding, but it needed to be done and was peace of mind that we didn't have any problems. They tried to cancel the appt at the last minute, but when I complained they kept the appt and were very good about time/punctuality. The price was very reasonable. I have been conned by other air conditioner people in the past and I considered this company an honest company. I would use them again.

Lucas showed up on time and asked if there were any issues. I explained an issue and he quickly diagnosed it and fixed it. He explained everything about what he was doing and how my system is set up. I left better informed and with my A/C working again. I am extremely impressed with the level of service and the great price with the Angie's list deal I bought. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again for any A/C needs

Nick was on time, very conscientious about his work, explained his inspections and work and provided good information on the systems. Would definitely use Excel Air for future HVAC needs.

The technician quickly identified a dirty filter as the cause of the reduced amount of cold air being produced by our room air conditioner. He removed the filter by sliding it out, and he suggested that I rinse it off, let it dry, and then re-insert it. Sure enough, the only problem with the air conditioner was a dirty filter! When I thanked the technician and and asked how much I owed him (I really was intending to pay!), he refused any payment. It's unusual to find a company that is so reasonable and honest these days. That's why I resolved to sit down and write this positive review as soon as I could. I will certainly call Excel Air Corporation in the future!

The technician wanted to know if we had a problem with our air conditioning and if not, we was he here. We explained that the system is 20 years old and to our knowledge has never had any kind of servicing. This checkup would be for possible repairs and our peace of mind. The system got thoroughly checked. No maintenance or repairs are needed at this time. The technician was friendly and very thorough in his work. If or when we need repairs we will be happy to use Excel Air Corp.

It was beautiful. I liked the price and getting in and doing the work. He told me what he was going to do. He was on time. He was punctual. There was very easy coordination. He was very good at discussing what's going to happen. Everything was great.

The service turned out fine. They did exactly what the deal stated. My wife was actually home for the service. Scheduling was very easy and pricing was fair.

Bob was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced (he even gave us a discount off of the original quote!) His work was thorough and done in a reasonable amount of time. We had a minor issue that he even came out on a Sunday to address. We would absolutely use Bob for any plumbing job in the future!

I just had it done last year. The technician put a filter in. I wished he knew the dimensions of my old filter instead of just cutting one for me. He was here for about 15 minutes. I had to ask him to check the furnace for leaks. He was able to do that for me and let me know that there were no leaks or cracks. He did do his job and seemed liked he knew what he was doing. I think it was a good deal for the price I paid.

Went very well. Said our old heater was in good shape and made some recommendations for air filters.

I tried to call them but they were busy a couple of times and then the number was out of business.

The service turned out really well. He was helpful and took a look at everything. Just one technician came out and he was here for a good 45 minutes to an hour. He came before the holidays and scheduling was easy.

That service turned out just fine. I had him out in November of 2013. He was still able to honor that deal since I purchased the deal in 2012. He came and did a thorough inspection to a new furnace and AC system. He was very honest and informative. He did everything I asked him to do.

Bob was our plumber during a remodel of a 20 year old home. Much of the work needed to be done in stages. Thanks to Bob's planning the work went beautifully. We have recommended him to many friends who, like us, think he is just the best! We miss Bob so much since he has moved. He was always here when we had a problem. He is a terrific plumber and a fine man.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the guy who came was late. His work was adequate. I think on this service there was supposed to be a free carbon monoxide monitor, but he forgot, so I had to remind him a couple of times.

The inspected and redid some of the duct work because it was not done properly during original install.

Tune-up of heating and air conditioning with cleaning. We learned about the functioning of our old heater. Very professional.

I think it was more marketing to drum up business; get into your property and suggest other services. Nothing wrong with that, per se, but SDGE could have and do inspections for free and in my opinion a bit more detailed. Excel is not the only company doing this sort of marketing. The decision to use in the future is not a clear "yes or no"; more a "maybe". No work was really done. Part of the service was a furnace filter, which I received. I had a problem with that item, I called the company and got a replacement promptly, with an apology. The tech did tell me that my furnace was not working properly, I knew that; his suggestion was a $600 repair or a new system. Fortunately, I knew how to replace the required part at a cost of $100.

Very prompt, friendly and professional. Made some adjustments and gave a couple of suggestions that others never had and didn't try to sell me any "add-ons" that I hadn't inquired about myself. | |Would definitely call again.

The boiler was too old so out of code but there was nothing wrong with it and it worked. He said the air ducts had asbestos in them so we shouldn't use the heating and it would cost approx $10,000 to have them removed and replaced.

We called Excel Heating Friday morning and they set an appointment for between 1:00 & 2:00 that afternoon. Jason arrived promptly at 1:00 and got to the problem immediately. He fixed the problem with the heater and then replaced a gas hose that we needed to replace according to SDGE. Jason had the part on his truck so it went smoothly. He cleaned up cheerfully and was gone.
