I gave them C for punctuality because he was late and nobody called me to let me know that he got stuck on another job.

Scheduling the visit was not without its problems, resulting in some last-minute rescheduling. The technician, however, was punctual and polite and performed a quite thorough inspection of the system. I am very satisfied with the service and have contracted with Excel for annual routine maintenance service.

I felt he was there to sell me sonething I really didn't need.

It went smoothly and as expected. I scheduled the service two weeks in advance.

The company called and cancelled twice. The third time the technician arrived on time and did a good job., (gave a B on punctuality for cancellations). Work went fine. They did not change the filter as the deal had described but tech said it did not need changing.

First appointment was 4 weeks then they did not show. Then the soonest they could come out what is 3 weeks later. Half of the summer was already over. When they finished they recommended ceiling the unit in hanging the ducting. The estimate was 1730 dollars. I declined and decided to get another company to give a bid. They did the job for 340 dollars. I don't know how they could be in a much higher. System now works great and I saved over 1300 dollars by not using Excel Air.

Some confusion on when job was to be done, But it was handled satisfactory was very expressed on time and did a great job.

Travis said he would call Maytag Monday morning and call me back with the cost. He called me Monday morning and said he had spoken to Maytag and was waiting for them to get back to him. They are not a Maytag authorized dealer, so they were having problems getting information and a replacement from Maytag. The General manager (Howard Moxley) called me back (Tuesday Afternoon) and said that I might be better off going to an authorized dealer. He even found the dealer for me and checked the model number to verify that the unit was still under warranty. He said if I had any problems they could do the job, but since it was under warranty, it might be quicker and cheaper to deal with an authorized dealer. It's nice to find a dealer that is more interested in helping the customer than making a few bucks. Lyle Hagedorn

They’ve done a very fine job. The technicians were very nice, clean, and very thorough. Their price was very good!

They’ve been helpful and I’ve used their services about 3-4 times. They do look for specials to accommodate; very often I have a basic need, which they try to find the best price for. Recurring customers also get great service.

The experience was good overall. They arrived when they said they would, did the work, found a part that needed to be replaced, and were nice.

The owner, Alex Kuhtarev, inspected our heating system that recently stopped working and provided estimates of various options to replace the heater and the ducting system. He was very helpful in providing an analysis for the best options for our situation. What I liked about this company is they did not just try to sell something, but they seemed to have our best interest in mind and allowed us to choose from a list of recommendations. Work, including obtaining permits, was done in a timely fashion according to the contract price, and with very high quality. We considered adding solar elecric service/panels to our home and received the same professional advice, including detailed analysis of our historical electric usage. Alex provided us with various options and recommendations for the appropriate system for our situation. Excel Air also worked very well with the roofing contractor, Schott Roofing, in a coordinated effort to provide the best long-term solution for flashing (leak prevention) around the solar panel supports. Work was done very professionally, including permits, coordination with the utility company, completed on-time, and according to contract price. In addition, after opening our electric servide panel, they provided advice for repair of some wiring damaged from rodents and offered a quick and easy solution to correct the problem. Overall we're very satisfied with the workmanship and service Excel Air has provided us and we highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a poor experience with them. After they installed and left everything seemed very well. Ten days later I thought I had heard water running upstairs. It sounded as if it was going through the walls. My husband heard it in the downstairs as well. What had occurred was they did not put the condensation line to the outside. For ten days we had a gallon of water an hour accumulating in our attic. It finally broke through. It leaked upstairs and downstairs on our carpet. We had to have people come out to make sure there was no mold.They blamed our internal plumbing. A gentleman Howard Moxley came out and put holes in our drywall only to find out that it was in fact their fault. I had to work with them and their legal department about the issue for months and months.

He was very prompt and wonderful. He gave me suggestions and did great work. He came in under the quote that he quoted. He was very clean and did awesome work. I would use him again and highly recommend him!

I contacted Exelair because I saw their ad on a postcard i received in the mail. I do not usually refer to those cards, but already had an estimate from a service that was recommended by a friend and wanted to get a second estimate. They were available the same day to come out which was excellent; as my furnace was not working anymore (and it was very cold in the house) so I wanted to get this done asap. Steve arrived promptly and was friendly, professional, personable, knowledgable, and experienced. And for these reasons I chose to use Exelair. Their price was much better too. I knew I was in good hands with Steve handling this job. (Plus- he is an Eagle Scout!) He explained everything about my system in great detail and what my options were for a new furnace (unlike the other company that had come earlier that day). He listened to my requests for energy efficiency and budget consciousness and came up with the best recommendation to meet my needs. Additionally they were able to do the installation 3 business days later. The installation went very smoothly. (except that the installers showed up 2 hours earlier than the time I had specified I would be home, but luckily that worked out). The installers were professional, friendly - and efficient: they were done much earlier than planned! Everything went well and I now have a warm cozy home to enjoy. I am so pleased with the service I received from Steve & Exelair and would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service.

We had a leak in our crawl space identified by a home inspector. He fixed the problem in less than an hour. He was friendly and courteous.

I called Excel Air and they were so friendly on the phone and sent a Technician out to my house within 2 hours! The technician was very knowledgable and professional and gave me a great price on a quieter Lennox furnace. They had the furnace installed the very next day. I love my new furnace, it is so quiet! I was also impressed by the office staff getting out my paperwork so soon (permit, rebates, warranty copy) - they had it all organized and easy for me to process. I will definitely recommend Excel Air to people and I plan on using them for my regular maintenances...
