The company sent out a representative to diagnose my heating situation. I was having very low air coming through most ducts. And there was not a duct in the living room. There was a deficiency in the way the original system was installed, without the appropriate cold air returns, some collapsed ducts, and a heating unit that was too small for the home. We agreed on a fix and a price. The company stayed exactly on price even though they ran into additional issues, they did not charge me anything more. They also came back without complaint until things were fixed and running correctly. I so appreciated their professionalism as well as their personal attention. I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.

The tech was very nice and professional, we got along great. He explained everything he was doing and said everything was working fine. I basically just wanted a preventive maintenance visit and I was happy that it didn't yield any problems. No attempts at upselling, just the service I needed. Booking the appt was a breeze, they were very responsive and worked around my work schedule.

He did a great job. I had purchased the thermostat and he installed it for free. I was happy with his work.

Made an appt and after changing the time, they then had to change the day. Then, the tech said he would bring me a differrent carbon monoxide detector (part of the "deal") and I had to call him twice to receive it. Then they tried to sell me a new furnace. Said mine was fine, just old.

They showed up late, poked around... Didn't clean or break down any equipment or ducting. Pretty much a waste of time and money. I asked for an estimate on additional work. 2 months later it came back way too high...

Arrived on time. Was professional. Went up to the attic to make sure the heater was working properly. I asked him to check all my vents to make sure the warm air was coming out appropriately. He then changed out one of my filters. He thought the other was fine by viewing up, but I asked him to take the vent off and look. When he did, we both noticed it was dirty so he then changed that one out, also. He installed a carbon dioxide alarm where I wanted it and where he thought the best benefit would be. I then noticed my battery was chirping on my hard-wired smoke detector in my ceiling. He went into his truck and found a battery that would fit and installed it for me. He went above and beyond.

Scheduling the appointment with Excel Air was a breeze via email and I was able to book a time slot for a few days later. The specialist (Nicholas) showed up right on time and performed the service with state-of-the-art equipment and quite thoroughly. The filter he installed was a newer type and only needs to be replaced once a year rather than monthly. He also gave me a lot of useful info and tips on maintenance and future upgrades. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism, and would definitely use this company again for any future furnace or AC work, and would recommend them to others.

Nicholas was prompt and very efficient in his work. He accessed the furnace in the attic through a ceiling hatch and quickly did his tests. He also replaced a dirty filter in the intake vent and provided a free carbon monoxide alarm. He was very personable and helpful in answering questions about expected life of our furnace.

I was really happy about it. The guy showed up with no ladder, no paper, no pencil, and sort of of talk and left. That was useless to me frankly because I don't remember what he said. I don't even know if it was 30 points. I really wanted the service done and I wanted it to be done on written but didn't even have a pen and ladder. I don't any evidence that he actually did anything. They were pretty responsive but not prepared I guess.

He also took the time to install an upgraded thermostat [I'd previously tried to do without success], AND AT N/C. We called Excel to have Nick come out and estimate an air filtering system. I was not able to use the big deal because the heater was 28 years old and needed replaced instead because it was producing carbon monoxide. The technician was very helpful, on time, prompt, and professional. I was very happy with the service I got.

got a coupon on Angie's list and since I recently bought the house I wanted to make sure the furnance was working properly. The repairman was very curteous and professional, arrived on time and did not find anything wrong or try to oversell. He did give me a quote on adding an AC system but was not pushy about it. Overall good experience.

I got the Angies List Deal and I feel like I should get a refund. Excel came out sometime in December and looked at my heater and said "you need a new one, its going to be expensive." Then the tech called headquarters to get some info on my particular unit and then restated how expensive my unit was going to be to replace. No options were conveyed in terms of repairing any particular parts of my wall heater. Then take did not use any gadgets or tools to test my heater, no soap and water bubble test, no checklist of the points he was going to check. I then proceeded to ask for a quote for a forced air unit and duct work since we have had other companies come out to provide quotes. The tech said that the companies I had come out were really expensive and that they would likely do the work for cheaper. I was supposed to get a write up via email that never came. The visit was brief. I would have paid more for an actual consultation and heater check or tune up. Buyer beware. This place was not professional.

The serviceman arrived on time. Work completed on time and to my satisfaction.

The service technician arrived about 15 minutes early, was knowledgeable about the Coleman central heating system, did the contracted inspection and air filter change, verified the operation and airflow to the floor registers and was finished in about 30 minutes.

It went very well. The technician(Nicholas) that serviced our A/C was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about our unit. Explained what we needed and replaced. Showed us the old filter so we could see that it definitely needed replacement.

The service was great. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and they did a great job. The deal was a great value, and they were willing to honor it.

I was not home when the service was done, but my wife said that the service representative was prompt and courteous. We have two furnace units in the attic. He checked the first one and said it did not need a filter. The second unit was in the attic in a different part of the house. He turned on the second unit, but did not go up in the attic to inspect it. He said on the statement that he left that "Every thing is working fine both units." I may have misunderstood the offer, but I thought the filters would be replaced in both units and that they each would be inspected.

I thought the entire process went very well from start to finish. The service men were polite and efficient and explained what they were doing. My only regret is that I didn't postpone ordering a heater from Excel and got estimates from other companies. Because I didn't do any research on the cost of a new furnace I wasn't sure I got a good deal or not. Overall the job was completed quickly and as planned.
