ORTHO MATTRESS

We were well overdue for a mattress, and Ortho was our first and only stop. The salesman told us they use thicker springs in their mattresses than all the other brands and that's why they stand up longer. I've heard bad stories of mattresses shortly failing after purchase from other companies. We chose the Normandy Queen size which can be turned, which is becoming rarer. It's foam encased, so no indenting when sitting on the edges. The set normally would have sold for 1800, but I told the salesman I was staying under 1000.00. So, he mixmatched the mattress with the baseboard and got us to 995.00. Then, to qualify for the credit account($1000.00 min.), he threw in a mattress frame for $5 that they normally sell for $75. The salesman was engaging and very nice and stayed about 20 min after closing to finish our paperwork. I didn't compare prices, so I can't give much input on that end, but with the 10 year warranty, I'm confident it will stand up. Returnable within 2 months.
