Description of Work: I contracted this company to remodel a bathroom because of a good price and referral from Hanna Plumbing. Bill did demo the bathroom, but did an incomplete job as he did not haul away the trash, and left us to do it over the next four weeks in our trash container. |I paid $400 for him to buy materials to get started. I then had a different plumber come out and do the drain and pipes. They recommended that I have the tile "floated" versus being put up with backer board. When I asked Bill Muldrew about this, he became defensive to the point of attacking me over the phone, that I was questioning his judgment and way of doing business. |We eventually decided to terminate the relationship, and I asked for my deposit back. He said he didn't have the money, but would pay me back in installments. |6 months later, he has paid $40 of the $400 and stated numerous times that he would honor the debt, but has consistently not done so. |When I looked the company up later, it turns out his license was not even current, so that was partly my fault for not making sure everything was up to date.

+ -1 moreContact the contractor...he was very professional up front and explained the process of what might have to be done to me. I told him job was for a tenant and ask him to call tenant to set up a time and date to view the job. He contacted tenant, but on the day he was suppose to go over, he never call to schedule a time...no follow through. Called another angie's contractor and got results.
Description of Work: Contact this individual to replace subfloor and tile in one of my bathroom for a rental. This individual did contact tenant but fail to follow through on viewing and estimating job. Very disappointed with follow through. Call another angie's list contract and got satisfactory response.
