MRM Construction

Mr. Mitch McDuffee, who is the owner/operator of MRM Construction recently did some work on our home, we were quite pleased with his workmanship and his attention to detail on his first job for our family, so we asked him to take on another job for us and install 2 new Milgard Vinyl reto-fit horizontal sliding windows. We had the new windows and the materials and we asked Mitch to install the windows and he agreed to accept the job. Windows are not a very exciting topic from a review perspective however it would become an interesting topic if they leaked and due to Mitch's attention to detail and simply the high quality of work he consistently produces, we wanted him to install the windows on the side of the home. The aluminum windows were removed without damage neatly, the area was cleaned, the new windows were sealed and installed, leveled, square and secured to the home. The installed windows were insulated and trimmed out on the inside of the home, and not as much as a scratch to the paint in the bedrooms or on the window sills. The trim job again...was perfect! The inside was trimmed sealed and cleaned. The exterior of the windows were perfectly sealed against the stucco exterior and the quality of the work is just excellent. It looks very clean and crisp, straight, just very nice and it looks like a person who really knows what they are doing and takes extreme pride in the workmanship. The inside of the bedrooms were clean, no dust, no dirty carpets in the bedrooms...nothing the rooms were in order and were ready when he was done. It was appreciated. The exterior of the home was clean and orderly as well, swept, clean, neat and presentable when he was done. When Mitch departed, the aluminum windows departed with him, the areas in and out were clean, the new windows were properly installed and the work looked great. Even more important, we know the windows were installed properly, there will not be leaks, he did a great job and the windows look great on top of the area being left clean and neat when he left. He's worked on our home twice in the last two months and I will definitely hire him in the future. You do not normally come across such high quality work, accomplished by a good man who respects your property and leaves it like you would want it. Again we didn't know Mitch from MRM Construction until about two months ago however, we hired him in December and we hired him again in January. Mitch and MRM Construction come highly recommended from us and again, if you are looking for high quality work, we recommend you give Mitch and MRM Construction the opportunity to earn your business. You will be very pleased you did...just like us!

Mr. Mitch McDuffee from MRM Construction renovated a neighbors home, we loved the quality and craftsmanship and we had him come to our home, perform a free estimate to remove and re-side the front of our home as well as provided us a materials list. Since we saw his work and the final results of some of his other projects, and being very competitively priced, we hired MRM Construction. We decided to utilize the Hardie Board Cement Siding and Trim. His estimates were dead on and virtually no waste...none. He did the demo and the removal of the wood siding, applied new tar paper, installed the new Hardie Board Siding and Hardie Board Trim and finally sealed and painted the completed work. The demo of the old siding was done in stages to prevent the old tar paper and any insulation being exposed for any length of time which we appreciated. In the process any structure that needed to be added to support the newer trim and siding was added and the whole work area was recovered with new tar paper. All items on the exterior were removed and placed neatly in the garage for replacement after painting. The house was Re-Sided in Sections, where the trim was installed and the siding followed. We were immediately happy with the quality of work, his attention to detail and craftsmanship. The seams were tight, he mitered corners, vice just butting the material together, the seams....every single seam...every one was caulked...prior to painting. As he progressed, we were very happy..the work was amazing...just like what we saw in the other jobs he completed prior to us hiring him. He is the owner and does the work...which is why his work is so consistent and detailed. I am a retired Marine and I am very detailed to the point of being obsessive-compulsive and everything has to be perfect. This job was perfect. The mitered returns on the trim, the mitered corners around the windows, the perfectly scarfed joints, every seam was tight...he even reworked the area around the spigot and electrical to ensure it was perfect...and it was not just notched and butted against pre-existing items, he took the time to remove, cut and perfect the fit like it was always there. I am impressed and am very pleased with his work and attention to detail and I highly recommend him. As is the case with most jobs, I deviated slightly to add a little more area to be sided by the front door, not a problem at all, he let me know slightly more, I agreed and it was completed. Due to the other 3 sides of the home being stuccoed one wall was stuccoed near the front door and that now displays the quality work he did on our home. Mitch was there daily, a very nice man, did his work and at the end of each day the front of the home was cleaned. He brought his own trash cans, everything that was demo-ed went with Mitch and again the area in and around our home was clean to my liking. Upon completion of the siding, he painted the Hardie Board Siding and Hardie Board Trim which comes pre-primed. We knew we were going to get amazing work on the paint as well. Again we picked the paint and got the material and upon completion it was perfect. The detail work in having tight seams, not seeing any nails, and having the seam, each and every one that was between the trim and siding was sealed with quality elastic caulk, was apparent. As is the case when someone does work for you, you check and again, no overspray, no paint where it wasn't supposed to be, the job was again top shelf and high quality. We are very pleased with our choice in hiring Mitch from MRM Construction. Beginning with the estimate through completion of the high quality work to the appearance of our home...we are more than pleased. I would consider myself a very fair person and I am very detailed and in very few instances do I come across someone, or their work, that I take in totality without flaw however, Mitch's work is flawless and the quality and craftsmanship is amazing. In the future, we will seek out Mitch from MRM Construction for other jobs that may arise. I highly recommend him and his quality of work. Prior to this job, we did not know Mitch and through his previous projects we were able to see his quality of work and we included him in our selection and obviously, we ultimately chose Mitch and MRM Construction. We, my wife and I, agreed, which is a rarity, on Mitch simply because we wanted the quality of work and craftsmanship on our home...and we did get it and are very pleased. We are so pleased, we are very happy and we got unreal quality work at a great price.
