It went well, I really like working with him and I trusted his work was done correctly. I'm learning now that he is on Angie's List, I felt good about a guy that was a referral instead of a cold call and am happy with everything that he did for me.

My experience with Mednick's couldn't have been better. Late Saturday afternoon I noticed I had a leaking water heater. I contacted Mednick's around 2 pm and the owner was at my house in less than an hour. He took out the old water heater in order to avoid any damage and carefully explained all of my options to me. The next day he was back with a new water heater that I chose and he installed it quickly and professionally at an entirely reasonable price. Almost any handyman can replace a water heater, but I was highly impressed with the level of service I received from Mednick's. He was promptly on time, thorough, and eager to answer any of my questions. I look forward to doing business with Mednick's again!

It's hard to say enough good things about Nick Medina and his company Mednick's Plumbling. Mednick's is one of the top plumbing companies in North County and his excellent reputation is well deserved. Nick gave me the best bid price and work done was fast, efficient, and expertly done. Attention to detail, bringing to my attention needed priorities in the choice of materials and fixtures, standing firmly by his work with guarantees and his availabiliy to do extras at a very reasonable price were par for the course of individual care he took with the job. One example, I was originally going to install a new tank water heater but decided to go tankless. Not only was Nick not aggravated by this change--which meant some reconfiguration of piping--but he recommended the most reliable and well sized tankless unit. His install cost on this was half of what others quoted. It's great to find a company you can trust to be on time, do quality work at a great price, stay on budget, and provide a high level of customer care. Nick's a wonderful guy, smart, friendly, patient and kind, and his hardworking crew were likewise a pleasure to have working at my home. I am more than happy with completed project and cannot recommend Mednick's Plumbling highly enough. We are fortunate in San Diego to have him!

I purchased a 1980's vintage home and wanted to update the bathroom faucets. My former boss, Mr. Handy, offered to do it for me. He showed up with tools and plumbers putty and before long, I heard him uttering expletives under the sink. A leak had erupted-- a steady stream of drips that was starting to saturate the drywall before the old hardware was even removed. No amount of effort would stave the flow- and this is was after 4pm on a Saturday! Angie's list to the rescue. I called 3 plumbers, got 3 voicemail msgs- until I called Nick. He'd already had a full day and was taking a well-deserved rest, but he agreed to come- and was here in 15 minutes. He fixed the leak and installed the new faucet in no time and he didn't drain my wallet for an off-hours emergency call. Nick is professional and personable. I'd certainly use him again... in fact I called him minutes ago with a new project. Mednick's is now MY plumber!

I'm really grateful for the responsiveness (he arrived an hour from my phonecall, on a Saturday morning), and his expertise in finding the source - and confirming that it truly was the source, so that I had confidence the problem was solved. He's soft-spoken and very pleasant. I was very happy with the less-than-$150 bill. Would definitely recommend him and use him again.

His name is MacMadina. A couple of years ago, I had a broken underside gas line to the pool furnace. I got estimates for it ranging from $4000 to $5000. My neighbors and I jacked the cement up under the sidewalk. I kept calling around and getting estimates. He came out and did the most professional job. He recommended a different kind of pipe than what most people were telling me. He warranted his work and everything. It turned out wonderful and the price was far better than any of the others. He has also done my water heater. He had replaced my 3 toilets. He graded them to the low flush. Recently, I had water seeping out of one of the garage walls. I could not figure it out what it was; whether it was big or small. He came out and opened up the wall. There was a crack in one of the sewer pipes coming down. He is very conservative in his approach. He did not knock down the whole garage to find this. He went little by little and found it. He took care of that and recommended someone to do the dry wall to cover that hole for me. I took his recommendation on that. He does the most wonderful work. I don’t think I would ever want to use another plumber unless it was such an emergency and he could not do it.

HE WAS ON TIME. IN FACT, HE CAME EARLIER THAN THE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED. HE DID HIS THING, AND WAS VERY POLITE. HE KNOWS HIS WORK.
