MARS Major Appliance Repair Service

The service technician spent all of 5minutes "diagnosing" a problem with my refrigerator which was not properly cooling. His diagnosis--"bad compressor" which he informed me was likely to be covered by the manufacturer's warranty-Upon review ofmy paperwork I discovered it wasn't. The technician left. I later called the company back to inquire further as to what was involved in fixing a "bad compressor." The company owner was rude and condescending. He was impatient and dismissive--telling me that I must have read my warranty wrong because he had never in his 30 years heard of a one year warranty on a compressor. I assured him that I read it correctly and that GE had confirmed my reading. He repeatedly told me I was wrong at which point I ended the discussion. GE then dispatched a technician who rebooted the computer on the refrigerator and found absolutely nothing wrong with the compressor. MARS had misdiagnosed the problem with my refrigerator, charged me for the misdiagnosis and insulted my intelligence to boot. I will never use them again! Refrigerator is running fine now thanks to GE.
