Wiring was complicated, sometimes fragile. Cliff persevered and did a great job...He also gave advice and opinion on an old garage and other upgrades for the house. Cliff has a good sense of and respect for clients needs and pocketbook.

Cliff showed up right on time and had a whole trailer full of tools. He got right to work on my list of assorted tasks. He worked quickly and was helpful to identify some problems that he could fix that I hadn't even thought about like the sticking doors.

When I called the week before, Cliff said he was booked for over two weeks, but that I could check in at 11 on Monday to see if he might be able to fit us in. As it turned out, he had a cancellation and was able to come over an hour from when I called (on Monday). He arrived 15 minutes early, set to work, and finished our projects efficiently and skillfully. He was pleasant to have in the house, and he cleaned up as he went along. I am confident that the jobs were done well. I would recommend him to anyone, and will definitely call him again when I have household repair jobs that I don't dare tackle myself.

We have used him before and have always appreciated his advice on ways to handle problems efficiently. The tenants were pleased with his manners. I appreciated his patience when dealing with the elderly and ones who do not speak English fluently. He presents himself as a professional with appropriate clothing and a well stocked truck and when necessary trailer with power tools.

Cliff was exactly on time, saw what needed to be done, did the job efficiently and well and cleaned up after himself. Then stayed to chat for a bit, he's had an interesting life to be sure. Very nice guy, personable and funny.

The bathroom was sanded and repainted. The old dishwasher was removed and the new one was installed. All work was done in one day. Mr. Dovey planned the tasks to make good use of the time since he billed by the hour. He was busy the entire time that he was at the property and actually stayed past the time that he charged to finish cleaning up and packing his tools.

I used Cliff several times to update a spare bedroom - he is responsive, punctual and professional. He arrived on time and worked hard all day, every day. He removed baseboard, patched walls, primed and painted. The next week, he hung a closet door, changed out doorknobs, installed a ceiling light fixture, hung blinds. Cliff did a great job - he's a nice guy and a pleasure to do business with. He is scheduled to do a similar job in my master bedroom next week.

I called him and left a message. He called me back the same day. I discussed what I wanted done. He gave me his hourly rate and set up a day and time he would come and do the job. When he arrive we again discussed the job, he asked a few more questions and went right to work. Since he purchased his supplies on his way to the job site, there was no delay in him starting the job. Cliff was on time. He cleaned up after himself and did a great job. Very nice person and easy to work with. I will definitely use him again when he have another project to be done.

Serviceman arrived on time and was flexible, well prepared , well tooled and knowledgeable. Positive attitude and professional cleanup when finished. Broad understanding of construction techiques and materials. Able to identify absence/presence of pests in window surrounding materials; essential to determining appropriateness of repair. Willing to work with and augment materials provided by owner.

My father had tried to help me install my new dishwasher, and it got stuck due to some tile work done before that prevented it from going in all the way. My dad thought the only way was to break the tiles, and that would have been a huge pain. So I called Cliff to see what he could do about it, and he was able to get the dishwasher un-stuck after it was jammed in there pretty good by my dad, and he was able to finish the installation without breaking the tiles by carving a bit more into the countertop (which my father had started doing). Cliff was very friendly, professional, answers his own phone and on time. I also thought his rates were very reasonable. I would definitely call him again for any future handyman repairs needed!

He showed up on time, was conscientious, very good at handling big jobs and small jobs & cleaned up at the end of each day. I think his price is reasonable - the charge for the window installation was better than the quotes I received from contractors. He charges by the day so I always had a to-do list ready. The new windows & the tile floor look great. I have more jobs lined up for him. (this was my first time to use someone from Angie's list - so far so good).

He is pretty reasonable and gives pretty good estimates about what things are going to cost. We have used him a few times. He worked for hourly rate. He did a very good job. He was prompt.

He did a good job, I think it just took longer than I think it needed. He said he could do it in one week. It took one extra day, and he he was paid by the hour. He didn't seal the floor because it was going to be extra time. He also switch out an outlet for me.

Contacted Cliff to fix some things at my rental property. Main issue was garbage disposal. He showed up on time and advised that garbage disposal was good and the switch was the problem. Replaced the switch. Fixed a clog with the dish washer. Fixed few other small issues. Would definitely recommend him to friends.

Cliff removed and installed a new kitchen faucet for us. Then when it wasn't right, he came with me to Lowes to exchange the faucet and ask Lowes questions about a presumably missing part. We had to go to two Lowes to find the same faucet (during rush hour traffic) and he was very patient through this entire process. The problem was a manufacturing issue with the faucet. Since we had some questions for the manufacturer that we couldn't get answered and resolved until the next day, Cliff came back the next day to install the new faucet. Even with his busy schedule on a larger job, he made time at the end of his busy day to initially come by and then come back again the next day. We plan to have additional work done and we will definitely be calling Cliff to offer the work to him first. I would highly recommend Cliffhanger Home Repairs to anyone.

I needed handyman work done around my home so I contacted four Angie's List handymen for prospective bids. Two I rejected immediately based on their hourly rates. Of the two I asked to submit bids, only Cliff of Cliffhangers actually took the time to come by to look at what I wanted done before submitting his bid. Based both on his personal visit and the fact that his price was the best, I chose Cliff to complete my projects. Cliff completed all of my projects quickly and well. I was quite pleased. I would enthusiastically recommend Cliffhangers to anyone.

Cliff did exactly what he said he would: work one full day for $300. At the end of the day, he had installed a new bathroom door and fixed the front door, somewhat, but when the end of the day rolled around, he did not clean up completely. He was also on the phone to me twice asking where I was as he had to leave exactly at the end of his day (4 pm?). I feel he left the job incomplete, and did not think it was worthwhile to pay him for another day to touch up/clean up. He did not adjust or fix the framing around the bathroom door, which left gaps on both sides. His business model is to do whatever he can in one 8-hour day, which may or may not include completion of tasks.

Along the way, Cliff demonstrated attention to detail and discovered/troubleshot several other problems I was having. On the bookshelf installation, he recommended and installed bracketmount to attach the bookshelf to the wall. When installing the bidet, he recommended drilling through the wall to reach an electrical outlet in my garage. When I told him the outlet wasn't working, he detected the GFI fault issue and fixed it. He also pointed out the need to replace some additional items inside the toilet tank and hurried off to Lowe's to get those for me (on my approval of course). In installating the screen for the hottub, he made sure to ask me where I wanted to place the chord to use to retract and deploy the screen ("inside or outside", "left or right").Cliff also observed several other small things that he could come back and fix. I will definitely have Cliff back again to fix this stuff.Not sure about other handymen prices, but I think Cliff may be on the pricier side. Still, I ended up giving him an extra 20% or so because I was so pleased with his work.

The quality of the work was very good. He was very efficient and professional.
