If I could give AXIS and their technician Arthur 100 stars, I would.
AXIS promptly scheduled an appointment to fix my dryer, contacted me with updates, and came ahead of the scheduled time (after calling to confirm I was home). Arthur was so knowledgeable, patient, and professional, that he unassembled, repaired, and re-assembled my dryer in under 20 minutes.
It is so assuring to do business with professionals that care to fulfill the customer?s satisfaction rather than doing it just for the money. I wish there were more businesses like them. Hands down truly recommend them to repair your appliances.

I had and still have leaky dishwasher. The technician showed up at my house. He looked at the bottom of the door, ripped off all the silicon and left. My dishwasher still leaked. They came back the next week. He told me that the gasket was bad. Why didn't he look at it the first time. He told me he couldn't fix it and left. What a waste of time and money. Stay away from Axis Appliance Repair, Inc. in San Diego/Oceanside, CA.

Going into the 9th week and my refrigerator is still not repaired. They first came out a week after I reported the need for repair. The tech first came out to diagnose the problem. He said he had to order a compressor and replace it. He came back a week and a half later and replaced the compressor. That did not work because he stated that they had the wrong part after he had installed the incorrect compressor. You would think that you would check the part before going to the clients home and installing it. The tech said that the correct part was at the office. When I called to see when the soonest they could come out with the right part, they stated that the part was damaged and they had to order another compressor. During this first repair process, the tech damaged the refrigerator door. He tried to deny it but eventually conceded. So we had to wait for another part to be ordered. The same tech came back to install the correct part and the new door. That did not work. They replaced the door that they damaged but did not install the handle properly, so the handle comes off when used. They did not come back to try and figure out why the repair did not work. They just ordered more parts, this time the condenser coils, but were having problems finding the part. They were able to find the condenser coils and ordered them. When it arrived and when it was time to install it, the tech did not show up in the allotted window. There was no call from the tech or Axis saying that the tech would be late. I had to call Axis and they stated the following: We could not get hold of the technician. Did he come? I had to call the warranty company, American Home Shield, and they were no help. They stated that Axis will call me when the tech was on the way. AXIS CAN NOT FIND THEIR TECH! The tech finally showed up 2 hours late without a phone call from Axis. The tech came and installed the condenser coil, but that did not work. The same tech could not fix the door handle. He tried several bits using his drill, but could not find the right size. Then he tells me that the screw was stripped; probably because he used several incorrect bits and stripped it. Now they want to take a look at the refrigerator to see what is wrong with it. No sense of urgency on their part to alleviate my familys inconvenience. In the meantime, we are having to use a cooler to keep things cool and go to the grocery store every day since we are unable to shop for the week. I Am not sure if they diagnosed the problem incorrectly or simply replaced the most common parts, like the compressor. They neglected the opportunity to re-diagnose the problem after I told them that the first fix did not work. They ordered more parts without knowing what was wrong. Now they are going to prolong the process even longer by coming out a fourth time to attempt to diagnose the problem.

Stay away! Wish I would have checked Yelp before I hired this company. I was connected to them trough Angi. It is also disappointing that Angi promoted this company. Here are my complaints: 1. As a land lord, I strive to treat my tenants fairly and with respect. This includes respecting their time. The Tech never showed up during the maintenance window I was provided, which was 3pm-6pm. the Tech called at 7pm and said he was on the way. He showed up at 8pm. Worked until 9:30pm. 2. Even though the tech had my phone number, he asked my tenant to communicate with me instead of calling/texting me directly. He never notified me that he was done which I explicitly asked him to do. 3. Deliberately mislead me on the price of the repair. When i spoke to the tech after he diagnosed the problem, he quoted me $453 total. I asked him to confirm the $60 diagnostic fee would be applied to the repair and he said "Yes" I was expecting to be billed $393. Turns out the total cost was $513, $453 is what i was billed after the diagnostic fee was applied. 4. The cost of the repair was outrageous. Assuming OEM parts were used, as I was told, the cost of the parts totaled ~$150 retail. I imagine they get them at wholesale prices. The repair took a little over an hour. So either they are marking up parts by over 100%, charging $200/hr or both.

Called Lowes with a service request for a broken water pump on my washing machine. I was scheduled with Axis through the Lowes call center. The technician showed up on time however he did not have the proper tools to properly do the job. He did not have a spring separator to put the spring back on my front loader washing machine. He stated they were expensive but after his struggle he would be buying one. There were extra screws when he was done one which he took with him and the other which is behind my washer on the floor. My washer now has scratches at the door from him using pliers and a screwdriver to try to get my spring on and also requesting my assistance. There are also dents on my washer from him pushing against my washer to try to get the spring back on and then to push it back into place with his knees. After he left the spring popped right back off. I placed it back on with little effort because he had stretched it out. I ran a load and water started leaking everywhere out of the side of the washer where the new pump is. Immediately I called and was told to email pictures and a request. There was little to no concern that one of their technicians had damaged my washer and now I had water all over my second-story laundry room. When I called a second time The girl places me on hold to see if they could try to have somebody different come to my house. She said she would not be sure if they would be able to do that but that they were open until 5 PM and they might be able to give me a callback. Very unprofessional, I was left feeling very frustrated at the poor service and lack of concern that they came into my home and caused more damage than what I originally had. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with Lowes and on whatever website I can find. Do not waste your time you will end up with a bigger headache. If this is a company that you are suggested to use through warranty I recommend speaking to management and having another company come out to service your appliance.

The technician arrived late 3 and half hours after the window of time. He came directly through the gate into my house without any permission driving a private car. I knocked at the window to inquire about the identity of the person. He did not like it and started profanities. I asked him to leave my property. I could not believe what I heard from a representative of a legitimate company. I called Axis to report the problem, they did not even want to hear the complaint from me at all. It figures.

Four weeks in microwave still not ready excuses excuses- miss communication- one part doesnt work the second part doesnt work- Ive made so many trips here so disgusted and frustrated at their terrible service - so frustrating- this outfit was selected by old republic home warranty - please stay away from both!!!!!!

After I called Axis they were able to schedule a repair man the same day. Egor was professional and not only suggested repairs but also suggested ways in which we could avoid maintenance or do minor things ourselves. Very professional company and would definitely recommend them.

The repairman was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Although the repair was pricey, but then, costs are high everywhere. Senior discount and 1 year warrantee were a big plus! I would definitely use Axis again.
