Description of Work: A&S Painting painted the insides of my newly purchased home. I had colors done on all of the walls as the original house was tan through out. I have used A&S Painting for over 15 years and this is the 3rd home they have painted for me, in addition, to the trim my mom's home in Carlsbad.. Owner Art Serrano and his crew pay attention to detail. They are very professional and will work with the client to insure all are very satisfied with their work. I always have some unusual ideas, like a unique strip in the hallway, Colored Squares on the bathroom walls( from a picture in a magazine.) Art Serrano and his crew have been able to recreate my fashion statements perfectly. :) And people always comment on how well my wood mantle and stairway were done on the house in Point Loma. MY old kitchen cupboards came back to life when Art refinished them. Friends and even other painters always comment on the perfectly straight lines between colors. Owner Art Serrano suggested A FOIL paint for my bathroom ceiling. That's right a FOIL! paint! Who knew?OVER-THE-TOP!! Stuff. I love it. This company will provide you with AWESOME Craftsmanship. Fine Residential Painting for sure!!

+ -1 moreAfter having described in detail what work we wanted done (various small painting jobs around the house), the owner came out to have a look so he could provide an estimate. The next day he sent an email saying that he was declining to offer a bid on the job. I suspect it was too small for him, but he didn't provide any reasoning and was unable to suggest any alternative vendors to do the job.I obviously can't comment on the quality of his work, but I felt that he didn't handle himself as professionally as I would have liked. We ended up using another vendor from Angie's List who was happy for the work.
