Description of Work: We had both our carpet and kitchen floor replaced. Cal Coast is really superior in the area of customer satsfaction. They worked on schedule and did a great installation on both jobs. Our refrigerator ice maker developed a leak when the frig. was reinstalled which we didn't notice until water came from under the frig. Cal Coast sent their installer back out to reinstall the tiles which "floated" from the moisture and he did a great job at no cost to us. Not common these days to get this kind of cooperation to a problem. We highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreHorrible experience. The installer they sent did very poor work. He had to come back three times. On the last visit he conceded he didn't have the right tools. The install was very bad. Baseboards were broken. Fit and cut is uneven. The connector between the tile and wood floor has broken and come loose three times. It's still not right. I Have called and written several times. I am going to have to sue them to fix it. Despite assurances that they stand behind their work they did not do so for me. I would never use these guys again. Beware.

 + -1 moreI had heard about Cal-Coast Carpet warehouse from a few different folks, so we decided to call them to see what the price difference would be between them and that larger (very orange colored) giant do-it-yourself chain. Big Orange wanted to charge us $4,500 to do the job, so we decided to call Cal-Coast Carpet. When I called to set up the estimate and measure, the owner Robert Fastlaben came out and measured himself. Later that afternoon, we went to their showroom and picked out carpet and vinyl - the estimate - HALF of what Big Orange wanted to charge us HALF!!! Plus, we got waaaaay better customer service. We were in the process of getting our house painted, so we set it up that after the painters finished the vinyl guy would come in, followed by the carpeting guys. They did a great job! The vinyl guy came, took out the toilet and the old vinyl in the bath and laid down the new vinyl - it looked great. He was very professional and even did touch-ups on the baseboards where they had to pull them to lay the vinyl. A few days later the carpeting guys came and laid the new carpet. Terrific job! I would definitely use them again!
