Richard was a wonderful handyman! I was looking for someone trustworthy and reliable who did good quality work for my rental property. I needed to have a leaky kitchen sink fixed and the ceiling in the living room patched and re-painted due to an A/C leak. Richard was responsive and upfront about his pricing and the timing it would require to fix these issues. He even coordinated with my tenant since I was unable to be there in-person. After the job was done, Richard sent me photos, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend working with him and would love to hire him again!

Richard responded a timely manner and came to take measurements. He provided 2 different quotes. His price was reasonable and was going to do the job but my family decided they'd do it for me. Although I didn't have Richard do the work, I'd call him again.

I'm a landlord in the East Bay and Richard is my go-to guy whenever any repairs are needed. He is such a professional. Always shows up exactly on time, gives a free quote and always honors the quote. No funny business. He works very efficiently and does a good job. I find his rates to be very reasonable. He is also just a trustworthy individual who tries to do the right thing and tries to help you spend your money wisely. For example, he's saved me money multiple times (and thus reduced his own paycheck) by explaining to me when things didn't actually need repair/replacement. He's also honest about when a licensed electrician or plumber etc should do the project. I'm so happy I found Richard on Angie's list and recommend him 100%.

We were pleased from the very first contact by phone. He was a patient listener, asked relevant questions in a non-condescending manner to get a clear picture of our needs, and he informed me of his schedule and availability. He first came to review each task, took notes and shortly thereafter emailed an itemized quote. Most importantly, he showed up on time and ready to work, we were at ease having him in our home and the quality of his work exceeded our expectations. It also bears mentioning that we'd received estimates for the same tasks from other handymen who inflated the complexity and cost of the job and/or overestimated their expertise (with carpentry and basic electrical work.) Rich fixed things that only needed a slight adjustment that others told us needed time-consuming repair or expensive replacement. He also pointed out things that we could easily do ourselves and money. He was a breath of clean air! We will wait for him to be available to tend to our needs in the future.
