C & T Rodent Control Exclusion & Pest Control

I have owned this house since 1986, over the years I have had problems with rodents getting into my basement, I have had several different pest control company's come out and set traps,etc. none of the company's would follow up on the work they were supposed to be doing,they just set traps and that would be the last I saw of them. I saw the add in Angie's list for C&T Rodent control and decided to call them, they responded right away and were able to come out in a couple of days, Curtis went over everything he would do over the next few weeks, he was always on time and a great person to work with, his wife would call and set the time for the next visit and he always showed up on time or would call if he was going to be a little late.I have set up with him to come out on an every other month basis to check for any problems and to spray for insects, bees etc.

Curtis seems extremely knowledgeable, however, the business is poorly run and it is impossible to get a written estimate. We were scheduled for our rodent inspection (cost of $99 which is applied toward the work should you choose to use the company) and Curtis showed up 45 min late with no call. Although I was a bit annoyed, he was very pleasant and seemed to know his stuff. He told me that I would receive an estimate within 2 days. It is now 7 business days later and I still have no estimate. While the business claims computer problems, the business manager has promised me an estimate multiple times and has yet to deliver. It is unfortunate, because we would have given this company our business had they fufilled their end of the deal in a timely fashion. Be cautious if you choose this company, you may end up paying $99 for nothing. Edited to add that we did end up receiving an electronic estimate with photos, however, we had already signed a contract with another company.

Tanya sent an email the day after we posted a request for services on Angie's List. Curtis arrived the following day and walked around the house with my husband. Together, they discussed ways to combat the problem. Following Curtis' visit, while waiting for the detailed report, my husband went ahead and repaired some of the damage and closed off entry points. A couple of weeks later, due to an illness, Curtis sent a detailed report of services to provide which included closing up access points, setting traps and monitoring any further rodent activity until problem was solved. At this point, my husband and I have closed all the access points and have seen no evidence of further rodent activity in our home. If a future problem arises, we would definitely contact Curtis again. He was very professional and provided excellent service.

Curtis is likeable and professional. We appreciate that he doesn't use baits and poisons, as we back up to a creek and have cats and many wild visitors. I had struggled to trap rats on my own in the crawl space under the house, but after some initial success was not gaining ground. After Curtis's scheduled six visits, the problem appears to be resolved. He cleaned and sanitized, and repaired some damage. We are sensitive to chemicals and smells, and Curtis's sanitizer caused no problems. The price seemed high (though I have no basis for comparison), but the service was delivered and promises fulfilled. We are happy.

Curtis is extremely knowledgeable about this process and very professional. While they were rat-proofing the house, they were also teaching me how rats get into homes and their habits. They gave advice to prevent rats in the future. They were wonderfully kind. Tanya does the scheduling, and she is just a charming person! She is wonderfully easy to work with in regards to the schedules: at one point, I needed to reschedule to a different day, and that was easily doable. I would highly recommend them and will certainly continue with them.

Curtis was great to work with. He is an experienced professional with a reassuring approach to an uncomfortable situation. My home backs up to an open space and I recently discovered rats had gained access under my house. Curtis sealed the entire area, set traps and checked weekly for 5 weeks to make sure all the critters were gone, cleaned/repaired/sanitized the whole area. I am very pleased with the work he did and would highly recommend him to others.

Worker showed up on time on first and follow up treatments to kill ants. No ants found since. Thus, the treatment is working as promised.

We have used one of the big pest control companies in the past. Their idea of finding entry points ino our house was to walk around it and find potential entry points. We have had recurrent problems with rats and mice. Curtis not only checked the roof and perimeter but crawled all over under the house. He found several area under my deck where rodents were getting into my sub floor. He quickly took care of these and trapped all the rodents. His service has been excellent and responsive. We plan on using CT Pest control for our other pest control needs.

Rat problem substantially solved!

Curtis came out and surveyed the exterior of house and went into attic and indeed found many droppings and snail shells that the rats were bringing in. He set a couple of traps and caught one or 2 baby mice. He said rodents were getting in through an area in the roof and sealed it up. He seemed very knowledgeable at the time. He also cleaned up all the droppings and snails in the attic. We had a one year warranty. At about one year after I checked the attic and again I saw rat droppings. Curtis came out but said they were old droppings. Well either he did a bad job of cleaning up initially (which he didn't because I checked) or these were new droppings since he had done work and the rats were back. My feeling is he didn't want to deal with it at this point and left me hanging. i am again in need of a rodent exterminator but would not use this company again because he ultimately did not fix the problem and did not follow through with his warranty.

Dealing with Curtis and Tanya was a pleasure. Curtis visited our home about half a dozen times. He was able to find and fix a number of rodent entry points in our two-story home and recommended the trimming of some large trees and vines that would help reduce the number of unwanted visitors. He climbed into our attic crawl space on each visit and set traps as he did with our basement crawl space and an attic area over our family room. Curtis was pleasant, cheerful, and was willing to explain what he was doing when I asked. I would enthusiastically recommend the services of C&T Rodent Control.

It went very well; I was pleased with his work. I have seen dead bugs! I think he charges a little more than other places but feel that this could be because of laws in different areas. I didn’t get a second price from any other service providers.

I purchased coupon for rodent removal review. Provider then emailed and said they have health problems and could not provide the service for several weeks at the soonest. They said I would have to get a refund from Angie's List They did not return my calls.

It turned out really good. We really liked the person that runs the company and the guy that came out. The only complaint I might have is that I thought he was a little bit too expensive. We really like the guys so we ended up paying it. I didn't really do any comparison shopping so I don't really know what would be a fair price. It just seemed like for the amount of work that was done, it was maybe a little bit expensive. He really did a good job and was really punctual. He was very neat and cleaned up. He communicated well.

Curtis was friendly, punctual and professional in appearance and performance. We were very pleased with the on-time aspect as well as the quality of the job done. The hatch cover was very well done and is aesthetically pleasing as well as fully functional. As promised Curtis would arrive on schedule every week to check the attic and crawlspace traps. I would highly recommend C&T.

It went well. It is supposed to take about 6 weeks. It took longer for us because I accidentally locked Curtis out one week. The results are wonderful. The house and attic smell clean and fresh. Curtis is very hard-working and reliable. He knows about rats and how they function. He closed off every possible entry way. We have been troubled by rats for almost 18 years. What a relief!! Curtis will come out and check the house again in November. Curtis and his wife Tanya are friendly and conscientious. Nice people to work with. Curtis was prompt in responding to our call. Tanya kept me posted as to when Curtis would be coming. I definitely recommend them for the job. By the way, he uses traps not poison to kill the rats.

The home inspection went fine, but although I indicated I wanted a quote to do the extermination, I haven't heard back from them. I am wondering if all he does is come out and do home inspection, He touts his expertise on controlling rats and he seems knowledgeable, but he seems to have disappeared. Tammy was in constant communication with me up until he did the inspection, but now that I want a quote and work done she has gone silent. Not impressed at this point. Will see waht happens next. If I get a quote soon it will be OK.

Tammy contacted me and explained that the quote was coming and that they were including pictures and the long weekend had delayed it. Worked out OK.

Curtis was excellent! He was always on time. When he needed to reschedule a visit (like when it would have fallen on July 4th), his office (wife Tanya) called in advance to move the appointment. Curtis was very careful about his construction work. He used numerous traps and watched for evidence of invasion to look for additional gaps and holes. He was very patient to explain to me what needed to be done. Even though it was a bit more expensive than I had expected, I am glad that I spent the money. I will enthusiastically recommend C & T to everyone. They are fully insured and guarantee returns and repairs if necessary. I am completely satisfied.

My experience to them went very well because he completed it last Friday, it's a 5 or 6 weeks that he keeps coming back for. He closed up a lot holes that we had, he only found 1 small mouse about the fourth week or so but otherwise there was certainly plenty of evidence and nest, I was fortunate that I don't have it in the house anymore. He takes the camera around and he showed areas that were open and needed to be closed off, not only in the attic area but also underneath the house, he showed the easy entrance area of the pest to the house when the weather change and then they decided to be inside rather than outside. He reinforced entry point areas, he checked everything each week that he came out, he also clean out lots of debris. It's 625$ for coming back and doing the process and that's twice which is 1250$ for the 6 weeks service of coming back and also for the screens, caulking, traps, and things like that, 189$ for the introduction where he see what was there and it's up to me whether I'm gonna pursue it or not. I have heard different times scratching inside the walls, I wanted to make sure that those were completely closed off and in the past years I have smelled that something died in there, living with that it was pretty hard to take. All those passages are all closed up so they can't pass through it anymore, I already have the peace of mind. I did recommend them from the people across the street. Definitely, he is very informative, he will tell you everything that he was doing, he will tell you dates that he puts up there and he doesn't leave any poison around. He is very safety minded and prompt; He also provided all the materials needed and put some extra miles on his work.

After 8 weeks we were still getting rats on traps but ended the service. They say their service is guaranteed for one year but I need to pay $100 for inspection. And $500 for more work. So guarantee means pay more money not they will stand for their work. It would been $1000 cheaper to buy form spray and some glue. Clean up he does just with his hand so misses a lot. No vacuum or anything. And their spray won't take away the rat urine smell in the attack. I might be expecting too much but I wanted no more rat in the house and they failed to do so. I am thinking just buy plug in noise maker for rats since I heard that would work and it won't cost me $1100 to learn a lesson.

It went pretty well. They came when they said they were going to come and did what they were supposed to do. I thought I had some more activity and they came back. They came and gave me the price they would charge and I thought it was reasonable. They work on their own schedule. They go by city or area. It’s not like they come when you can, they will come if they can. They go to their schedule rather than accommodating the client and I think you have to work with that.

Tanya, Curtis' wife calls to remind me the day before he is scheduled to be at the house. She calls prior to his arrival to indicate that he is on time or will be a few minutes late. I thoroughly appreciate Tanya's personal treatment. Curtis is professtional, checks and sanitizes area treated. I am very pleased with his service.

We are in week one of the program. Traps have been set (He does not use poison.) He will come by each week. I will update this review when work complete.

I got this company from Angie’s List. They're very good and prompt. They came every week to check the cracks and they identified what’s the problem.
