The job was performed as specified over a course of 4 weeks. We set up dates/times with Curtis on when he was going to come in for inspection/clean up. Curtis and Tanya are husband and wife that work as a team and are very professional and great to work with. Work done as instruction. Rats were gone and no more issues since Curtis has helped us out! Every time Curtis came out he was very courteous, friendly, gave us tips and made sure that he was careful with clean up as he knew we have children and cats. His professionalism, respect and work ethic is awesome! We also received 1 free follow up within the year of service which we will definitely do. We have recommended Curtis/Tanya to our friends and family members that live in Contra Costa County and will continue working with them every year.

We had some critters living in our crawl space, as well as a lot of spiders inside and outside the house. Curtis gave our house a very thorough inspection and found that we had rats entering our crawl space through a couple of different entry points. He laid out a clear plan for how he would address the problem and followed through as promised, over the course of several visits. He also gave the inside of our house a non-toxic and very effective spider treatment, and did an outdoor spider treatment that dramatically cut down the population of creepy crawlies. Curtis and Tanya are very pleasant and knowledgable. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

It went really well. They got rid of the rodents. He kept coming to make sure that there were no entry points. He checked everywhere including the attic, crawlspace, and perimeter of the house.. He did a good job at blocking the entry points with wire mesh, screening, or concrete. I highly reccomend them.

Great responsiveness to our complaint of noises in the ceiling. I called and spoke to Tanya. She did a great job explaining all the possible causes and my options to fix them plus what makes C&T different from big corporate companies. That gave me confidence to proceed and put down the $100 deposit. She set the appointment for the next Monday. Curtis showed up right on time and was very knowledgeable with high energy. He immediately did a top down inspection of the property including going inside the attic and basement. (no other company I called would agree to do that) He took pictures all along the way and sent them to me via email along with a well written quote for the full job the next day. He identified the problem as Roof Rats and showed me the access points where they were getting in. Said it take about 6 weekly trips to set/clear traps and progressively close off the access points so we didn't just trap them inside and cause a big mess. Very Smart. All appointments to date have kept perfectly and work is progressing as promised. While the total extermination will take 6 weeks - we are off to an excellent start. Professional service was promised and delivered. Tanya is flawless at the paperwork, appointment followup and "back office" parts. I am looking forward to completing this engagement and using C&T again in the future.

I purchased the inspection Big Deal because I knew we had a couple areas around the house that were susceptible to rodent entry and wanted to make sure we maintain our house properly. Curtis came out and performed the inspection in a timely, professional and friendly manner. He inspected around the house, in the crawl space and in the attic and identied several areas that required sealing. He also notified me that he saw tracks in the crawl space suggesting some rodents had gotten in. Within a few days I received an estimate of $750 (in addition to the $99 Big Deal, for a total of $850 above) that included trapping of rodents in attic and crawl space and sealing of all entry points. This estimate also included removal and sanitaziation of the areas. Curtis performed the work over a 4 week period and I believe he trapped and disposed of two of the little critters. It was definitely worth the money spent, although it does seem high to me. But to be fair, I didn't get any other estimates so I can't honestly compare. In the end, the money spent is well worth it and so far all the areas still appear well sealed. I was given 1 year free follow-up on the areas serviced. I recommend Tanya and Curtis for the customer service and the quality of the work provided.

I was at wits end - after manually killing streams of ants in our kitchen over a few days, spraying household pesticide (which I hate using) and then spraying vinegar all over our kitchen to ward them away, we continued to have ants come into our kitchen. I called C&T and spoke with Tonya who educated me on the problem and what types of pesticides they use. Her approach and style is "folksy" as she and her husband Curtis own and run the company. She managed to squeeze me in that week as they were overbooked in dealing with the seasonal rodent problems in our area. Curtis came at 6PM (he actually came early) to apply an environmentally-friendly pesticide inside and outside of our house and patio. He found ants in our ventilation ducts and around the perimeter of our house and patio. I asked Tonya about the impending rain and its effect on the pesticide - she told me they used pellets which time-release the ingredients when wet. It's been about a week and so far, and only a few straggler ants have shown up(which Tonya told me to expect). I can rest easy now.

We have used C&T's services for several years, after switching over from a company that was not able to locate where pests were coming from. They were able to find and seal up entry points, and did an extensive cleanup in a challenging subfloor area. Each month they spray for outdoor insects, monitor and clean out traps. Curtis is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous and responds to specific areas of concern each month. He offers greener choices of pesticides if desired. He will visit between monthly services as needed if we suspect a new pest problem. Tanya is very helpful with service reminders, scheduling and accounting. We are very happy to recommend their business.

C and T did exactly what they said they would do. They were professional and punctual and we would use them again.

Curtis showed up promptly at the agreed time and set about inspecting the premises. He took a detailed look at the entire roof and grade level areas and found the concealed spot where the rats had chewed their way into the attic. He knows what he is doing. I closed off the area myself, and he sent me a proposal to change out the attic insulation damaged by the rats. He is very competent and easy to work with. I am happy to recommend him.

We were pretty over run with rats and we were really impressed with C And T Rodent Control. We also had a bird mite infestation which was not fun to deal with. They were very responsive to our calls and came out to determine what the issue was. They are clean and efficient and we have not had any problems. The technician was courteous and polite as well.

He was very nice, professional and worked hard removing rodents, sealing off their entry points and cleaning up their mess. I haven't had a problem with rodents since!

C&T is a great company and I would highly recommend their services!!! Curtis does the pest work and Tanya runs the office. They are both very nice and professional. Over the years, I had worked with several extermination companies (some national, well known companies) that provided extermination / exclusion work and charged a lot for their services. Their goal was to hook you into a service contract. However, those services all failed miserably and I began to wonder whether it was even possible to exclude my house. My frustration level was high and I decided I would try another exterminator. I found C&T online and I read the reviews. I was skeptical but desperate to get rid of the problem. Curtis did a complete inspection and gave me a reasonable quote for exclusion and extermination work. The primary difference between C&T and the other companies was that Curtis actually crawled under my house into every nook and cranny so he could see where the rodents and any openings were. (The other exterminators seem to prohibit their employees from doing that.) Within 4 months the rodents were completely gone and have not returned. Curtis can back every week to inspect the traps until the problem was resolved. I can now sleep through the night uninterrupted from the pitter patter of little feet under the house and am grateful to C&T. C&T provided an optional bi-monthly monitoring service that could be cancelled at any time. They also provide a 12 month guarantee for all their work. I have been very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to all of my family and friends!!!

I had roof rats that I could not get rid of so called several companies and selected C&T Rodent Control. They set up a schedule of service that worked for me and within the time specified rid my house of the pests. C&T was very professional and easy to work with. The rats have not returned and I am resting easy now. I would use them any time I have a pest problem.

My wife and I are first time homeowners and one of the items on our home inspection report was to have a rodent inspection performed at some point. It wasn't an urgent item but something we had to get done. I found C&T after searching online and saw they offered a free inspection. I sent an email inquiry at 6:40pm and was surprised to get a response that same night around 9:20pm. I have researched many contractors who also have "webpages" but never get back to me. The quick response left a good first impression! I was given a reminder call the day before my inspection and an update the day of the inspection. Curtis arrived within the appointment window and is a very friendly guy. I followed him around and he pointed out potential access points in the attic and showed me what areas were used by roof rats in the past. He also told me this all appeared to be old activity, most likely the Winter, and there was no current problem. He said a minor exclusion + cleanup was all that was needed but it could be put off until the Fall. Curtis had left a good impression so I asked him for a rough quote and he told me his usual fee for this type of work but lowered it because the amount of work was fairly low and there was no current infestation. He reminded me I had until the Fall and was on his way. This is where my only criticism of C&T comes into play. My wife and I discussed the estimate about an hour after Curtis left and decided to do the work right away instead of putting it off. I emailed C&T immediately and started to schedule everything. When it came to pricing I was quoted something different than I had discussed. This was concerning but we worked it out. I believe the miscommunication in price was due to the way C&T handle orders. I believe that Tanya handles all inquiries while the Curtis is out doing service calls. The price I had in mind came from Curtis who had seen everything in person and decided it was a quick and easy call so he provided a discount. The price Tanya was discussing when I tried to schedule the work was their normal fee. The miscommunication was solved after Curtis finished his service calls and returned that evening. Curtis usually does the formal quotes and work orders in the morning but he took time after a long day to clear up the miscommunication and sent me a follow up that evening confirming the discounted price we discussed after the inspection. The actual exclusion work and clean up was quick and easy. Once again I received a confirmation call a day in advance and a warning before the appointment. Curtis was on time as promised and he brought me around and showed me all the locations he had sealed as well as the "after" look of the clean-up. Curtis provided some additional tips regarding trimming trees away from the roof and said I was good to go for the Winter and no unwanted guests should be using my home to keep warm and safe. Positive experience for me and I am currently a satisied customer. I would recommend C&T

Excellent. Living on the edge of open space we have had rodent issues on and off over the years. I have hired two companies prior to hiring C&T. The previous two companies did the same basic thing - block off the holes and set traps. They just didn?t do it as well as C&T. Curtis was incredibly diligent and methodical in his approach. It may sound funny but he really thought about the specific approach and how to outsmart the rats. He didn?t try and do it in one go. He knew it would take some time and it did. But I feel the results are going to be much better than the other companies I used in the past. When he patched he didn?t simply use aerosol foam. He patches with concrete and wire mesh and he takes care to dig down lower than the foundation. Neither of the other companies did any sort of clean up. Curtis removed and replaced damaged insulation and cleaned up the droppings. He was punctual and if he was going to be at all late or early his wife Tanya would call. I did not mention that this is really a two-person operation. Tanya and Curtis. Nice people doing very good work. I highly recommend them. Yes they are more expensive than the other companies I have used but I think they are well worth it. You get what you pay for.
