Description of Work: Removed current roofing material from 2 buildings, replaced with composite asphalt shingles, perimeter eaves converted, new continuous weld gutters installed, painted facia all around perimeter, repaired dry rotted area, obtained Building Permit. The crew working on this job were superb, worked hard and did the job well, with care, responded to unexpected problems and discussed possible solutions with our manager to his satisfaction, and cleaned up every day. Job took about five days.

Description of Work: We had a leak in the roof over our living room. A small trickle of water ran down and damaged the wall of our living room when it rained, but only when it rained very hard. We put off doing anything for a couple of years because it was so infrequent and minor a problem. We had another roofer try to find the leak a year ago but his fix did not work. We had a neighbor who is a contractor try to find the leak . He ran water on our roof for 30 minutes but could not identify the location of the leak. Westco's estimator also ran water for 30 minutes on the roof but could not locate the leak. So Westco sent out their "leak expert" (the estimator's description), Ki Soo Ah. It took Ki Soo three trips to our house but he finally found two leaks and repaired them. We were very impressed by his tenacity, skill and professionalism. We have run a sprinkler on the roof for three hours to simulate a rainstorm and are satisfied he has solved this difficult problem. Taking this much trouble on a small repair job is really noteworthy. Westco's responsiveness, from the estimator to the "repair expert" was all we could ask. The price was very fair given the work required. We will certainly use Westco for any future work on our roof and highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThey were very neat and very precise. They were very quick. We had really bad heat waves, but they worked so many hours straight in the blazing hot sun. They really busted about two days of work in a day and a half.

+ -1 moreWestCo replaced our roof years ago and we were very pleased. The gutter job was outrageously expensive for a very small job. We paid the invoice under protest. They emphasized how difficult this was and what a delicate operation it was. They sent two guys out that worked for about 25 minutes and they sent us a bill for $500. I thought that was unbelievable and I let them know about it. We had a very negative experience with them. They came out right away to fix the gutter so I can’t fault them on that. I think they misrepresented what difficulties they were going to have. They did the things they were going to do but they charged too much. I thought the way they did things was extremely unprofessional. I would not go back to them. The work isn't faulty but they were dihonest.
Description of Work: We called WestCo Roofing when we had a gutter problem recently. They patched a small hole in the gutter and the realigned the gutters with the house so that they would have the correct slant into the downspout.

+ -1 moreThe experince went well, they were great. THey were very professional, they dd what they said they wouod do ina timely manner. They cleaned up well and didn't ask for any money upu front. $1500 seemed like a lot of money, but I think it was worth it.
