Vinny examined my concrete slab flooring (I live on Bay Farm Island). He said it was important to check the moisture levels to be sure a good installation could be done. But first he advised that I get the slab smoothed for best installation results. In their small shop, I got good advice from both Vinny and Sarah in selecting the hardwood for my new floor. T & T does not perform concrete resurfacing but they referred me to a provider of that service. There was a delay because that provider. after examining the concrete, referred me to another provider he said was a better fit for what was needed to prepare my concrete slab. During this time, Vinny's staff checked in with me to see how the resurfacing was going. The 2nd provider did an excellent job in grinding down the high spots and filling in cracks and low spots to make a good surface for hardwood installation. When Vinny came to review, he was really impressed with the condition of the slab and, after checking moisture levels to be sure installation would be successful, his workers came and installed the flooring beautifully. They also installed new primed baseboards and hardwood trim around the fireplace and at the sliding glass door. I emailed pictures of the new floor and everyone has raved about how great it looks. It gives me such pleasure now as we can enjoy it and of course it adds so much to the value of our condo.
